Today, we continue with our look at the RIIL by focusing on some of the state's top wings.

This is arguably the deepest positional group in the state and is led by La Salle Academy's [player_tooltip player_id='2546819' first='Jake' last='Marcone'].

Marcone, a 6'5" wing that can really shoot the basketball, is a solid athlete with a nice floor game. He has the ability to make plays off the bounce, has good vision as a passer in the halfcourt, and offers versatility on the defensive end of the floor.

Here are five more wings to watch in the RIIL this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470868' first='Jervon' last='Brown']

Brown, an impressive open floor athlete, has the chance to be a breakout star at East Providence. A terrific rim to rim athlete, he does a great job of finishing plays as a scorer in transition offensively and hunting down blocks defensively. He's a high motor wing that controls the defensive glass, finishes through contact at the rim, and scores over either shoulder in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470894' first='Elijah' last='Ibidapo']

A versatile two-way performer, Ibidapo has a chance to be among the state's most effective wings at Shea this season. A terrific athlete, he has elite positional size and length with quick burst movements on both ends of the floor. He offers off ball rim protection, creates a lot of deflections in passing lanes, and can rebound above the rim. Offensively, he's at his best attacking the basket and finishing with length.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470898' first='Zerek' last='Johnson']

Johnson, a big ball-handling wing, should be a big-time playmaker this winter for St. Raphael Academy. He does a good job of getting downhill off the bounce, where he can finish plays at the rim or find his teammates in scoring spots. He's a strong on-ball defender that does a great job of finishing plays in transition. He's a three level scorer that does a nice job as a decision maker in the half court.

[player_tooltip player_id='2553808' first='Ryan' last='Larsh']

A well rounded, two way wing, Larsh should make a big impact on both ends of the floor this winter at Scituate. A talented rim finisher, he's crafty in the paint, both as a scorer and facilitator. He does a good job of getting to his spots off the bounce and is a high level shooter in the mid-range. Defensively, he's versatile enough to guard multiple positions and rebounds at a high rate from the wing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2553850' first='Connor' last='Reilly']

Reilly, a knock down shooter from behind the arc, could have a coming out party this winter at North Smithfield. A high IQ wing, he does a good job of moving without the basketball, either to set himself up for open perimeter jumpers or slashing to the rim where he finishes over length with a variety of floaters. He's a good offensive rebounder, willing ball mover, and multi-positional defender that should only get better as the season goes on.
