Leading off Friday's National Bracket standouts is [player_tooltip player_id='1766186' first='Yasir' last='Cromer']. He has steadily improved throughout his high school career and is now one of the top guards in the state in his senior season. Cromer is very composed with the ball in his hands, controlling the pace of the game and running the offense for his team. In River Bluff's matchup with Fort Dorchester, Yasir showed off a good blend of aggressive scoring and unselfish facilitating while also balancing his defensive duties. He finished with 11 Points, 8 Assists, and 5 Steals in the win.

Mike had a terrific second game in Columbia, putting up 34 Points including 7 in a one-minute span to start the second half of Indian Land's win over Fox Creek. He displayed blow-by speed, a tight handle, and deep range throughout the day. Jones also looked especially engaged on the defensive end on Friday, picking up his man just inside the half-court line, moving his feet well, and racking up a few steals. Mike is one of the top pure scorers in the class and along with his backcourt partner makes up one of the best duos in the state which makes Indian Land a team to be feared.

Sims was a bright spot for Fox Creek in their loss to Indian Land. After some struggles to open the game, Kobe got in rhythm in the third quarter and was much more efficient for the rest of the game. He is a tough shot-maker who can play within the offense or create his own buckets when plays break down. Kobe is also a solid athlete who gets vertical on his jump shot and shoots over most matchups. In his 19-Point outing on Friday, Sims had buckets at all three levels but was at his best getting into the paint off the dribble.

The Cayce Roundball Classic was my first chance to see Franklin on the court in some time and it was in a Lakewood Gator Jersey. Darius set up shop in the paint and mostly worked around the posts on both ends of the floor. On the defensive end, he cleaned the glass, walled up around the basket, and caused havoc for ball handlers with hard and high hedges. On the offensive end, Franklin showed that he could work with his back to the basket or face up and work off the dribble with a solid finish and soft touch. Darius put up 11 Points and 9 Rebounds in a matchup with Cross Creek.

Frashad left a great first impression on me playing with Georgia's Cross Creek High School at the Caye Roundball Classic in Columbia, South Carolina. Tisby's frame and skillset projects for a very bright future and he showed flashes of it in the Razorbacks' win over Lakewood, putting up 18 Points, 3 Assists, and 2 Steals. Frashad is long and lanky but isn't afraid to play through contact when working in the paint and is also a good shooter who defenses have to stay attached to. Tisby can even handle the ball well and was Cross Creek's main offensive initiator in most of the second half because of his playmaking ability.

Mason is an intriguing prospect who had a solid performance with 18 Points for Hiram in an all-Georgia matchup with Lakeside. He displayed skill in scoring the basketball, particularly in the mid-range where he would pull up off the dribble or pop to the middle of a zone. At 6'5", McKinney has good size which benefited him in finishing at the rim and shooting over his matchup. He was very active on the break and a couple of early transition scores helped him get in rhythm.
