Eklund has made 11 of 30 3-pointers to start the year and has some deep range. He does well keeping his dribble alive to find teammates for baskets and shows solid anticipation ability to pick off lazy passes on the perimeter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1560804' first='Joey' last='Sutherland'] - The 2026 wing from Grand Rapids had a solid performance versus Esko hitting 3 3-pointers scoring 21 points and against Hutchinson he scored 20 points while making 4 3-pointers. Sutherland can facilitate from the secondary ball handling position on the wing and find teammates for assists like he did against Hutchinson and had 4 assists. He can put up a stat line like he did versus Goodridge/Grygla, 14 points, 8 boards, 3 assists, 5 steals, and 3 blocks that just helps his team in so many ways.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2103407' first='Caiden' last='Schjenken'] - The six-foot-two-inch senior guard from Deer River put up a massive 41 point game versus Two Harbors while making 5 3-pointers. Schjenken is athletic enough to cut baseline and dunk the ball home, and gets up pretty well enough off two feet. That leaping ability gives him good chances of grabbing rebounds from opponents. Schjenken plays mostly off the ball for Deer River on the wing as a combo guard which enables him to let the ball fly. Schjenken averaged almost 22 points per game last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Chris King - The 2025 senior King is a solid athlete for his six-foot-two-inch, 255 pound frame. Quick feet, and hands to secure loose balls and steals, he's a monster rebounder inside for the Rangers. King is nearly a double double every night scoring over 15 points and almost 10 rebounds per game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126157' first='Max' last='Lake'] - Lake has been playing varsity basketball at Sebeka since he was a 7th grader so a 2027 sophomore he's entering his 4th season. Through 3 games Lake has scored 79 points making 12 3-pointers at a 41% clip. Lake's shooting motion looks very repeatable and smooth. Doing well scoring 13 or 15 points in each of their 4 games, and netting himself 20 rebounds, 29 assists and 10 steals. Brown is such a solid clue piece player at the guard position which at times you may miss because he doesn't play overly flashy but he's consistent game in and game out.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
