The South Dakota commit turned it up a notch in the fourth quarter as he was not going to let his team lose his senior year on their home floor scoring half of his points in the final period. He went back and forth with Gonzales in great battle. Buzelis is a strong and physical wing that loves pull up jumpers from two and three. Does a great job of rising up while giving himself plenty of room to get it off. Explosive athlete that won off the dribble on spin moves, in transition, and mixed in some soft touch finishes. His passing was on point as well when the defense collapsed on him he would find a teammate for an easier look. Went for 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 dimes.

Gonzales gave it everything he had in the championship game putting his team on his back for bucket after bucket. You could say he deserved the call on his coast to coast take at the end which was 50/50 foul or not. He still had a spectacular game with his ability to consistently get two feet in the paint for scores. Such a nifty scorer with fakes, jukes, and scoop shots. He had spins in the lane off the bounce that he would bank in. I really liked how he backed himself in playing Marcus Domask “booty ball” from Illinois last year where he would ease his way in the lane, create separation with fakes, and then score around defenders. The Citadel commit went for 24 points and 7 rebounds in the loss.

Workman is an uncommitted 6'5” combo forward that brings a lot to the table. First asset is his shot making from three as he hit a pair off the catch. Very good spot up threat that can also pass the rock at a high level hitting cutters and finding teammates for good looks. Versatility to be a four at the small college level. He had 8 points.

Howard helped his stock at the tournament in the two games we saw. Small college 6'6” five man that presents skill, mobility, and touch around the hoop. Nifty finishes, cuts off the ball, and finishes out of the dunker spot. Keeps the ball alive on the glass and protected the rim defensively including back to back blocks on one possession. He had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Dell is a sharp shooter that can really let it fly from distance. Best as a spot up threat off the catch as he hit three of them for 11 points.
