[player_tooltip player_id='1729825' first='Trey' last='Lewis'], 6'1 Roselle Catholic

Lewis transferred into Roselle Catholic from Cardinal Hayes and is set to make an immediate impact. The 6'1 guard has a good handle, which he uses to blow by his defender off the bounce and can finish through contact around the basket. Lewis can also score in the mid-range and sets his feet before he shoots. He moves well without the ball in his hands and slides his feet on the defensive end. Lewis joins a talented Lions backcourt that is looking to make a deep run in the postseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595676' first='Jalen' last='Maldonado'], 6'2 Bergen Catholic

Maldonado joins the Crusaders from Roselle Catholic and will be one to watch in Bergen County. The 6'2 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to get to the rim off the bounce and finishes in a number of ways around the basket. Maldonado is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. He works hard on the defensive end and is an underrated passer. Maldonado is a talented guard prospect who should make an immediate impact for Bergen Catholic.

[player_tooltip player_id='1790210' first='Tyler' last='Hammond'], 6'0 Thrive Charter

Hammond is not technically a transfer as Trenton Catholic is now Thrive Charter, but he is playing in a different state bracket this season, making him eligible for the list. The 6'0 guard wastes little motion in his release and can knock down triples in bunches. Hammond can also get into the paint off the bounce and finishes nicely around the basket. He uses his quick hands to get deflections on defense and is an underrated rebounder. Hammond ended last season with four straight double-digit games and is looking to carry that over into this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1608251' first='Bryce' last='Hillman'], 6'2 Camden Eastside

Hillman is looking to make an immediate impact for the Tigers after transferring in from Camden Catholic. The 6'2 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and is unafraid of drawing contact. Hillman rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and pushes the ball nicely in transition. He makes it tough for his man to get to his spot on the floor and works hard for rebounds. Hillman is a gritty guard prospect who will be looking to make an impact right away for Camden Eastside.

[player_tooltip player_id='2139578' first='Jordan' last='Owens'], 6'1 Holy Cross Prep

Owens joins the Lancers from Princeton Day and will be looking to make an impact right away. The 6'1 guard has a good first step, which he uses to get into the paint and make plays. Owens rarely forces the issue in the halfcourt and can find his open teammates. He moves well without the ball in his hands and is able to get deflections on defense. Owens is part of a Holy Cross Prep squad that is looking to make it back to the Non-Public B South semifinals.
