<p>With the number of ranked prospects expanding from 200 to 300, there's no shortage of <em>newcomers</em> in this update.</p>

<p>The highest ranked <em>newcomer</em> is [player_tooltip player_id='2633517' first='Leo' last='Curtis'] (<strong><em>#7</em></strong>). We already covered the <em>CATS Academy</em> big man in an article on the new <em>Top 10</em> earlier this week, but will reiterate that he's made an immediate splash since arriving in New England. He's an agile and mobile 7-footer that has a high level of skill and the ability to make an impact on both ends of the floor.</p>

<p>Below, we'll take a look at 10 more <em>Notable Newcomers</em>, prospects that we believe will have a major impact on their team's success this winter.</p>

<p>Yadd, a physical power forward out of <em>Putnam Science</em>, has quickly made a name for himself in New England this fall. The 6'10" big man plays with strength in the paint, moves well up and down the court, and has a fair amount of skill with the ball in his hands. He's capable of scoring over either shoulder in the post, has a little bit of wiggle in isolation situations, and can make catch and shoot threes. Defensively, he offers rim protection and has proven capable of rebounding above the rim in traffic. He's a high major big man in the making.</p>

<p>A big wing at <em>Vermont Academy</em>, Kaba had a coming out party recently at the <em>National Prep Showcase</em>. At 6'5", he has good size on the perimeter, is a creative finisher around the rim, and shows good initial burst off the bounce. He has the tools to be a an effective secondary ball-handler, but thrives right now as a downhill driver and scorer. He has physical gifts that allow him to be a lockdon defender on the perimeter, capable of shutting down opposing ball-handlers at the point of attack or being disruptive in passing lanes off the ball. </p>

<p>A <strong><em>Northeaster</em></strong><em><strong>n</strong></em> commit, Francis is a 6'8" combo forward that has the ability to make an impact on both ends of the floor. An elite athlete at <em>Hotchkiss</em>, he's capable of punishing the rim in the half-court and in transition. He has terrific instincts as an offensive rebounder, can make plays as a straight line driver, and does a nice job of finishing through contact in the paint. Defensively, he's a game changer around the rim with his ability to alter shots and initiate the break off of his own defensive rebounds.</p>

<p>Coulibaly, who has committed to <strong><em>Rider</em></strong>, is a quick twitch athlete with the ability to change a game on the defensive end of the floor. He's an impressive athlete for <em>Avon Old Farms</em> with quick hands and quick feet that is capable of being an incredibly disruptive on-ball defender. He does a good job of turning defense into transition offense, has the ability to create his own shot off the bounce, and does a nice job of changing speeds and directions to get into the paint as a playmaker with the ball in his hands.</p>

<p>The <strong><em>Rhode Island</em></strong> commit is off to a terrific start in his postgraduate season at the <em>Newman School</em>. The 6'4" combo guard is a next level defender that utilizes his length and athleticism to be disruptive on the ball. He's a stabilizing force on the offensive end of the floor, capable of getting his own offense when needed or filling the creator role as an initiator. He's done a good job of filling multiple back-court roles so far this season and continues to show that he has an impressive arsenal as a scorer.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">[player_tooltip player_id='2636114' first='Christian' last='Humphrey-Rembert']</span></strong> <strong>(<strong><em>#79</em></strong>)</strong></p>

<p>Humphrey-Rembert, a 6'9" combo forward at <em>St. Thomas More</em>, has shown an impressive amount of skill so far this season. The <strong><em>Brown</em></strong> commit is an intriguing offensive talent, capable of finishing plays above the rim as a slasher or operating as a hard roller in ball screens. Lately, he's proven to be a capable perimeter shooter, especially when he operates out of the trailer position in transition. On the defensive end of the floor, he does a good job of slowing ball-handlers in ball screens, while also providing a presence as a rim protector.</p>

<p>A 6'9" forward at the <em>Tilton School</em>, Boudouma has started the season with multiple 20 points games, showing off an expanded offensive skillset. He's a mobile forward that's capable of playing in the paint or on the perimeter, while proving to be a tough defender on the other end of the floor. Offensively, he's a versatile prospect that can score from either block, while also stretching the floor with his shooting ability. Defensively, he's a switchable defender that can rebound in and out of his area, while providing some rim protection from the help side.</p>

<p>Philemon, a big combo guard at <em>Stoneham</em>, appears in the rankings for the first time as a newcomer to the region. He has a college ready frame on the wing, nice burst off the bounce in the half-court, and the ability to make plays for himself and others with the ball in his hands. He's a three level scorer that is both athletic and skilled. Defensively, he shows the ability to guard multiple positions on the perimeter, holds his own in the paint on switches, and can really rebound the basketball from the guard spot.</p>

<p>A combo guard at <em>Lee Academy</em>, Green fills the role of an impactful defender and shot creator. On the offensive end of the floor, he's capable of making plays as a primary ball-handler, has proven to be a consistent perimeter shooter, and does a nice job of making reads out of ball screens. Defensively, he's a physical point of attack defender, capable of generating steals on the ball. He's not afraid to hit the floor for loose balls, does a good job of pitching the ball ahead in transition, and can score at multiple levels when needed.</p>

<p>Sorinmade, a tough combo guard at <em>Oliver Ames</em>, makes his initial appearance in the rankings after returning to the <em>MIAA</em>. He has good positional size, does a great job of attacking the rim in transition, and is a three level scorer in the half-court. He's proven capable of initiating offense as a lead ball-handler, knows how to get downhill off the bounce, and does a good job of making shots in catch and shoot situations. Defensively, he's a strong open floor defender that utilizes his lateral quickness to stay in front of opposing ball-handlers.</p>
