Here were some of the Guard Newcomers I viewed:

[player_tooltip player_id='2628372' first='Ryan' last='Felix'] Douglass (Pictured)

One of the my personal sleepers at the Tucson showcase. He plays the game the right way and with a huge motor. His ability to slow down every player in front of him keeps him on the court. He can also score from mid-range off the dribble and hit the catch three.

[player_tooltip player_id='2475776' first='Luke' last='Franco'] Catalina Foothills

A decent sized scoring guard is a tough guard who can play on or off the ball, but is best off the ball. He is sneaky athletic to dunk the ball on the break and can shoot it from mid to the three.

[player_tooltip player_id='2420182' first='Tate' last='Alberts'] Catalina Foothills

A scoring point guard has a nice shooting stroke and plays with good court awareness. He has a high IQ with good passing skills. He knows how to change speeds and smartly plays off the pick and roll game. He can hit the three and get downhill and score on reverse layups in traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='2630577' first='Adam' last='Armadillo'] Tucson

An undersized scoring point guard is quick and can fill it up. He gets hot quickly and will rattle of threes one by one. He can dime his teammates down the court and will play tough on the ball defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2630578' first='Jose' last='Nieblas'] Sunnyside

A quick on quick combo guard can make a play plus score. He has a tight, shifty handle with some speed with the ball. He can hit the catch three plus get to the basket with a burst.

[player_tooltip player_id='2268365' first='Kristian' last='Del Rio'] Cienega

A sturdy framed guard can play multiple positions. He can handle the ball and score off the dribble or create his own offense. He can shoot the three and uses his thicker frame to get into the paint and score thru the contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='2630584' first='Patrick' last='Flores'] Tucson

A cerebral scoring point guard has some speed plus quickness with the ball in his hands. He can hit the catch three and makes smart reads. He moves the ball and is a low turnover, high IQ type of guard.
