Flores is one the best shooters in the 6A South. He runs a very potent offense for the Badgers and seems to always come up big in clutch offensive possessions. He has 48 three pointers on the season while shooting 44 percent. and is shooting 46 percent from the field. He is currently averaging 3.0 assists per game. His vision and patience on the offensive end allows him to be a very effective point guard. He doesn’t get rattled by defensive pressure and makes great passes. A very high IQ player. I expect Flores to be in the conversation for offensive player of the year in the 6A South Region.

Flores is off to a great season. The lead guard for a very deep and talented squad for the Badgers has made some big plays in clutch situations and has Tucson High with a 6-4 record in powerpoint games after an extremely tough four game start to their season. Flores is averaging 14.8 points, 2.8 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. He is shooting 48 percent from the field and 49 percent from the perimeter. He has a season high against Mica Mountain with 28 points and has surpassed the 20+ point mark 6 times this season. Flores is a true point guard who can control the pace of the game and makes high level reads. He impacts the game tremendously and makes great plays consistently in high pressure situations.

Flores is an all around guard who impacts the game in all areas. Has a strong presence on the defensive end. Forces turnovers and disrupts opponents offensive schemes. A floor general who allows plays to develop. Will make the defense pay for any mistakes. High percentage scorer especially from three where he got hot and made three in row in the second quarter. Sees the floor at a high level and connects on tough passes.

Flores helps lead a talented Tucson High team. He is a tough two way player. Picks up the length of the court. Vocal leader. Patient ball handler who doesn’t get rushed and will quickly identify and expose the opponents weakness. High level passer and a momentum shifter. High percentage shooter 4/6 from deep with 14 of his 19 points in the second half. Plays off screens really well. High level footwork. Was consistent throughout the weekend against all levels of talent.
