Preseason Preview: Class 1A Preseason All-State Team

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are about twelve days away from the beginning of the season for the larger classifications in Louisiana. Jamborees and scrimmages are being held all over the Boot in classes 1A-5A as players prepare for the season. As we continue our preseason previews, today we will look at the preseason, all-state team for class 1A. There are some high level guards who comprise the players on this team. The Crescent City guard is a three level scorer looking to help his team repeat. Quarterback <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2677905' first='Benjamin' last='Case']</strong> is also a high level combo guard. If he plays basketball, he is a lock to be one of the best players in the class. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1543675' first='Roderick' last='Tezeno']</strong> is a top ten player in football and basketball. He is great on both ends of the floor and dynamic in transition. <strong> JS Clark and [player_tooltip player_id='2415393' first='Le'Damian' last='George']</strong> are moving to Class 1A this year. George is a high level, two-way player who can change games with his offense or defense. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2677918' first='Tyler' last='Green']</strong> helped East Iberville to the quarterfinals last year. When <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2409020' first='Jermarquis' last='Hampton']</strong> leaves the Haynesville football field, he will be the leader of the basketball team. He is a scoring point who thrives in turning defense into offense. <strong> [player_tooltip player_id='2206875' first='Lawrence' last='Pickney']</strong> is one of the better point guards in his class. He is an impact player on both ends. He will be a key cog in Leadership's effort to return to Lake Charles. <strong>Isaiah Stevens</strong> is another guard capable of averaging 20 ppg for Crescent City. He and Magee will be a dynamite 1-2 punch. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1543654' first='Joseph' last='Spann'] </strong>can score at every level and defend. Stepping into a leadership role for Lincoln Prep, Spann should be one of the better players in Class 1A. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2532477' first='Parker' last='Deville']</strong> is one of the best shooters in the class. His ability to stretch the floor will make him an impact player in Class 1A this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Class 1A should be exciting all season. Both Division IV championships should be highly competitive with the teams and players in this classification.
