Tezeno is one of the top athletes in the state. He has been a Top 5 ranked hooper for three years. We removed him from the rankings following his football commitment to USC, as it was assumed he would not be playing. However, Tezeno is back on the court, and his skill level is elite. His athleticism is the same trait that garnered national attention from football programs, and his aggression translates perfectly to both the gridiron and the basketball court. His presence makes Opelousas Catholic a threat to anyone in the bracket. Even though his future is in football, Tezeno could make one final statement in the Top 28.

Tezeno may be one of the best football players in the state. He is also very good on the hardwood as well. Tezeno can play both ends of the floor at a high level. His man-to-man defense often spurs the OC transition offense and Roderick knows how to finish in transition. Tezeno can also score from the mid-range and he is also very effective around the rim. His game and effort are top tier.

Tezeno is a high level two sports star in his class. Basicially, he is the 2026 version of Keon Coleman. He is very good on the hardwood. He is a true three level scorer and above average defender. Roderick is one of the best transition finishers in the state as well. He is truly a difference maker on both ends of the floor. I do not know how much longer the hardwood will have him because of his prowess on the gridiron. As long as he plays, he is definitely a top five prep.
