Newman School/Sunrise Christian Eye-Catchers

Sunrise Christian was able to edge out Newman School in an overtime thriller 93-90 these were some prospects who caught my attention throughout the game.    Morillo had a game high 31 points in the defeat. He showcased that he could score the ball in an array of different settings. He converted on 3 chances from behind the arc. He was effective getting to the foul line. He flat out knows how to play and lets the game come to him. His length allows him to collect rebounds with ease.     Bollin showcased his resiliency throughout the game, he finished with 25 points and was constantly getting to spots downhill and finishing inside. He always finds a way to be in the right spots to make a play. He is an unselfish player who has no problem making his teammates better. Bollin showed he could also stretch defenses with his shooting.     Onyejiaka had a nose for making highlight plays on both ends of the floor. He has great timing which allows him to alter shots in an effective man. He showcased his ability to finish inside and is a real threat from the dunker spots. His 16 rebounds made him a menace on the glass. Onyejiaka was efficient with his offensive production, he is very good at staying within himself and continues to go with what works. He continues to progress as time goes on.     Haynes is a dynamic scorer who used his quick first step to get frequent paint touches. Haynes has good positional size at the lead guard spot. His ability to get to the foul line was natural. He had no fear sacrificing his body for the good of the team. He finished with 17 points. 10 rebounds and 7 assists a really well balanced stat line.     Rogers showcased his perimeter shot-making ability often in the game he had a team high 18 points with 3 three point field goals converted. He shagged a few rebounds and used his length to alter a shot. Rogers recruitment should pickup some traction after his performance this weekend.     Kalala who is committed to Longwood showcased his ability to rebound effortlessly on both ends. He uses his blend of strength and length to put himself in the proper spots on the floor to be successful. Kalala finished well inside and made a mark from the foul line. He is a switchable defender who has no problem guarding different players. Kalala added double figure scoring.     The Estonian center showcased his offensive versatility. He has an elite vision of the floor and was constantly finding his teammates in precise locations. He shot the ball well from the foul line. He had 11 points and was one of the 5 Sunrise players who finished in double figures in scoring. Saadi is committed to Drake University.
