He opened the season with 27 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the field against Wake Christian Academy then followed that up with 21 points on 10-of-12 shooting from the floor against Neuse Christian. He's producing 24 points per game on 80 percent shooting from the field while also averaging 10 rebounds and 2.0 assists and 2.5 blocks per contest. He's producing 21.3 points per game with the Eagles off to a 4-2 start on the 2024-25 season. He's showcased his ability to establish himself in the post area and make things happen as both a scoring and passing threat. He's averaging 23.0 points per game including 32 points in a tough loss to Burlington Christian Academy to open the season. The Cougars are still 3-1 in the early going with Calvert also producing 4.0 steals and 3.0 rebounds per contest. He went off for 31 points on 13-of-18 shooting from the field including two made 3-pointers. He's off to a hot start with 20.5 points per game along with 7.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. He's shown he can grab rebounds out of the net and create offense in an instant off the bounce with his ability to navigate defenses.
