Saturday November 23, PH NorCal was at Fortune Early High School, Laguna Creek, CA. The Fortune Early Showcase featuring teams from the San Joaquin Section. There were 5 games. Three of Sacramento's top teams were in action, Destiny Christian, Inderkum, and Monterey Trail, along with other programs in the area.

[player_tooltip player_id='2274949' first='Elias' last='Roche']: A late bloomer maybe. He's made improvements playing against quality competition in the Spring and Summer of AAU basketball. At 6'7 he's strong with a solid body. He'll bump and bang the boards on both end, go after blocks, and defend in the paint. He'll get most of his points in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2484289' first='Devaughn' last='Dorrough']: NorCal's highly regarded Freshman will shore up the paint with his 6'7 frame, lengthy arms and growing body. He has good timing going after blocks and rebounds, he recovers well defensively. He'll get stronger, and play with balance as he adjust to the bumping that goes with playing Varsity. He'll get buckets inside. 12 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2059713' first='LJ' last='Chadwick']: He's a do it all guard working under the radar. At 6'3 he's a ball handler with good passing up top. His handles and moves can get him a bucket off ball. He has the body to deal with contact, and hops to challenge blockers at the rim. He can hit short jumpers, he has 3 point range, and he defends multiple positions. 10 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1983713' first='Jephte' last='Tambala']: A muscular forward who's worked hard to expand his game away from the basket. We saw an improved mid-range jumper with lift. It seems his best work is done in the paint. His strength, and quick jumps allows him to go after blocks, rebounds, and use power moves to get points, he has a paint jumper that's hard to block. 8 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2335246' first='Omarion' last='Davis']: He's an undersized forward with a solid body. He's an effective player in the post area playing in the small school division. He'll get rebounds, and score often inside. He has some handles that allows him to attack the basket along the perimeter, baseline, and in transition. He plays hard on the defensive side of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2379566' first='Bernard' last='Bryant']: He's tuned his body, and moving better since the Summer. He's strong, plays with a chip on his shoulder. Standing around 6'4 he can enforce some things in the paint. He'll get his share of rebounds, take it up strong handling contact around the rim. He'll shoot open 3 pointers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2484212' first='Owen' last='Edwards']: The Freshman from Arcadia, CA in SoCal will have to go on our radar. He's 6'7 handles and sees the court in transition to deliver good passes up court. He moved the ball around the perimeter. He hit a couple of catch and shoot 3 pointers in the corners. He had body control, along with strong finishes driving to the rim.

Nick Wallace: The Freshman from Arcadia, CA in SoCal. He's a speedy point guard with slick handles, and vision. He's a pass first point guard looking to make the pass to cutters, shooters and into the post. His quick burst gets him into the paint for points, and assists. He can hit open 3's. He has foot speed to stay close to ball handlers full court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1703089' first='James' last='Carraway']: He's an athletic scoring guard with the skill set to get buckets within the frame of the offense. He has speed, and explosion off the dribble going into the paint for jumpers. He handles contact, but will have to finish around the rim. He can get transition baskets, drop 3 pointers spotting up around the perimeter. He has good effort on the defensive side of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1703084' first='Nate' last='Hibbert'] : Standing 6'5 he can be a match up problem. He's proven he can set up, shot ready in the corners for catch 3 pointers with a quick release. He's a big body with decent handles and control. He can maneuver his way into the paint driving the baseline to get points around the rim. He has the toughness to defend inside, and rebound. 4- 3 pointers, 15 points.
