The All-Ohio Hoops Showcase is a great event to start the high school basketball season in Ohio every year. The event is hosted at Reynoldsburg High School, which has two locations. For this article we are going to take a look at Reynoldsburg Livingston's action.

Columbus Centennial Vs Whitehall 11:00 A.M.

The opening game of the event is a solid match-up as I expect Centennial to be a team to watch in the Columbus City League this winter. Kal-El Faison is a returning senior who plays with a lot of energy and athleticism. Freshman Cam Johnson is a guy I'm very excited to watch grow after he was a standout performer at the Prep Hoops Freshman showcase. On Whitehall's side, Reggie Bagley is the guy fans need to know about. He's one of the elite scorers in central Ohio and will launch away from 25+ feet routinely.

Columbus Africentric Vs Huber Heights Wayne 12:45 P.M.

Africentric is led by a 2026 duo of Rohaun Hardy and Derron Gray Jr, fellow 2026 prospect Kamaree Wilkinson stood out at our Prep Hoops Expo and could be a name to watch as well for the Nubians. On the Wayne side, they'll be led by Boots Perkins, one of the top players in the Dayton area. Perkins has been a consistent presence for the Warriors who have some intriguing freshman to watch.

Columbus Academy Vs Dayton Dunbar 2:30 P.M.

I got to see Dayton Dunbar at a preseason scrimmage but the Wolves were missing some key pieces so I didn't get a great feel of what their team will look like this winter. Compare that to a Columbus Academy squad that returns seniors Anderson Davis and Theo Falkenhain, two players that have had strong careers for their team. Add in rising Junior Jason Singleton who is a prime breakout candidate this season and I expect Columbus Academy to be a strong team in central Ohio this season.

Columbus Walnut Ridge Vs Cincinnati Western Hills 4:15 P.M.

A Columbus Vs Cincinnati City League battle, Walnut Ridge is a team to watch as always in Columbus. Deon Johnson is one of the most talented 2027 players in the state and this is a key season for him to take that next step this season. For Western Hills, Seydou Keita was a standout at a preseason scrimmage I was at and seems ready to fill in the top scoring role for Western Hills.

Bishop Hartley Vs Pickerington Central 6:00 P.M.

You want guards? This game has them. Bishop Hartley is led by brother duo Jaden Calloway and Jakhi Calloway. Pickerington Central has a twin duo of Aaven Snyder and Ayden Snyder. Not sure how many games this season will feature sets of brothers at opposing sides of the backcourt but that's the storyline I'm most interested in with this match-up.

Columbus Northland Vs Worthington Christian 7:45 P.M.

The final game of the day puts Northland against Worthington Christian and I think this has to be a big game for Nehemiah McMorris in the paint as the key for the Vikings. Worthington Christian graduated star forward Sam Johnson, who has had a fast start to his college career at Cedarville. I expect Northland to use their size advantage against a Logan Woloshan led Worthington Christian squad
