As the AIA season kicks off on Wednesday, I wanted to look at some important players who transferred in who may make some noise and put their team in great situations to win.

Here are some important Glue players from teams that may make an OPEN or Conference Run

[player_tooltip player_id='1150848' first='Nolan' last='Brown'] Perry

A high motored point guard is a menace on the ball defensively. He has quick feet and hands and plays bigger then his size suggests. He allows their top players to do what they want and he does the dirty work but he can also shoot the three.

[player_tooltip player_id='1680907' first='Josh' last='Dillard'] Ironwood

A high motored wing forward is another that does the dirty work and rebounds and defends players bigger then him every single game. He is shooting the three more and more and gets the 50/50 balls.

[player_tooltip player_id='1950101' first='Koi' last='Sharpe'] Mesa

An improving wing forward is always throwing his body around for the Jackrabbits. He will be on the ground for a loose ball, grab an out of area rebound, running the floor for transition buckets and make shots from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1759332' first='Dom' last='Rojas'] Central

A tough and gritty point guard is a shot maker and will defend his position. Don't let his size fool you, this guard will take it straight down the lane and won't back down. He will be another ball handler that the Bobcats can rely on in close games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1430450' first='Elijah' last='Brush'] Hamilton

A cerebral wing forward does many little things to affect an outcome. He rebounds well in his area, moves the ball to open shooters like you should, defends in space and inside and makes open threes. He will give up his own good shot for a better shot to a teammate.

[player_tooltip player_id='1768205' first='Jayden' last='Hughes'] Brophy Prep (Pictured)

The Swiss Army Knife does many little things well. He defends nearly every position from the 1-4 with his long arms and athleticism. He can handle the ball like a point guard or point forward type, make a play and create his own offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1736170' first='Kareem' last='Alkhalifa'] Pinnacle

A wing forward who will defend many positions for the Pioneers. He will handle the ball and create some shots for himself and others and defend inside the paint plus out on the perimeter. He will be asked to score this year more but still do a lot of the other little tasks that affect a win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2280476' first='Josiah' last='Peoples'] Prescott

The athletic defensive two-way guard is usually their third scorer behind Gaul and Tenette. He is great in transition with real speed, he is super athletic to defend his position, grab out of area rebounds, block shots and make shots to take pressure off their big two.
