2028 Watch List: Wings & Posts

Here's a batch of wings and posts that present some pretty high ceilings based on their size and skill combo. Take a look at a couple of skilled posts and athletic wings who should be on your radar in the 2028 class.    Beahan enters the year as the tallest freshman on our watch list, standing at a towering 6-foot-10. He's exhibited some promising skills out of the post; passes to cutters, finding skips, and keeping the ball high on moves from the blocks. He already shows the ability to deploy multiple moves down low and has the potential to hit shots from the high post. He'll play alongside a talented playmaker in [player_tooltip player_id='2375385' first='Jalen' last='Davis'] and should be able to have an instant impact on a Bremerton team expected to make a run in the 2A.     McNeal is a real athlete who's also a D-I football recruit. He has the size and athleticism to be a factor out of the gates for the Crusaders. He can guard multiple positions, handles the ball well enough to be an attacking threat from the perimeter, and his athleticism makes him a factor around the rim on both ends. He's a high-effort kid who should be a key guy off the bench this winter.     Brown is a highly talented wing who got to level up this spring and summer playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2451463' first='NW' last='Drip'] 15U. Physically, he is more than ready for high school ball and should be a standout with Okanogan. He shows various skills on the offensive end; has the strength to take guys off the dribble outside when he gets the edge, is a powerful finisher who can get out on breaks, and has the potential to be a solid jump shooter. He had some monster moments in the AAU season and will be a kid to track as the season gets underway.     North Central has yet another young, talented kid coming in with some length who could be the next guy up over there. He's shown some real flashes for a kid his size, shooting, handling the ball, and even passing the rock, which makes him a pretty intriguing prospect. It may take some time for him to start making an impact but the skills he's shown suggest he could end up being a wing/stretch four depending on how his physical tools come along.
