Starting off the 2027 Class 3A is [player_tooltip player_id='1997737' first='Colton' last='Kreger']. Kreger showed key development as the season progressed in 2023/24, earning minutes in 24/31 games and putting up 1.6 Points Per Game as the Patriots won the 3A State Championship. Colton was a stock riser in the most recent Prep Hoops SC 2027 Rankings because of his success playing up multiple age groups during the AAU season. He has good size for his age and is already a defender who Powdersville trusts. Kreger can knock down perimeter shots or get to the rim off the dribble. Colton recently took an unofficial visit to Wake Forest.

Next up is the first of 3 Fox Creek players, [player_tooltip player_id='1986996' first='Kobe' last='Sims']. Kobe is a scoring-minded guard who opened eyes in his Freshman Season putting up 7.4 Points Per Game and 3.0 Rebounds Per Game. He can still run a successful offense with the ball in his hands because he has a tight handle and good vision for his age. Sims is confident at all times and can elevate over defenders just about anywhere on the floor. Kobe is an efficient shooter off the catch and off the dribble, and in the mid-range and on the perimeter. He recently took an unofficial visit to Furman University.

Another 3A Sophomore Guard on this list is [player_tooltip player_id='2414074' first='Justin' last='Vining']. Vining and the Predators had a good season in 2023-24 and will have high expectations in Class 3A Region 4 this winter. Justin was very good this Summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2078724' first='Carolina' last='Pressure'] and has already started performing at a high level with Fox Creek in scrimmages this fall. Justin is a high-level playmaker who can consistently get downhill and create scoring chances for himself and others. Vining is also a good shooter from behind the arc and in the mid-range. He is fast with the ball in his hands and likes to play the game at a fast pace, but he often does a good job of forcing more turnovers than he gives up.

Next up is [player_tooltip player_id='2441195' first='Kaleb' last='Broadwater']. He averaged 3.1 Points Per Game and 3.2 Rebounds Per Game in his Freshman Season. Broadwater often mans the middle for Fox Creek and he plays bigger than his size around the paint. Kaleb is persistent in finishing around bodies, looks to pass when the defense collapses around him, works hard on both sides of the glass, runs the floor, and can create with his back to the basket. Broadwater also has good feet, soft hands, and is stronger than his profile would suggest.

Rounding out the 2027 Class 3A Fab 5 is [player_tooltip player_id='2246933' first='Bennett' last='Cooke']. Bennett was a State Champion in Class 1A with the Cavaliers in 2023-24, playing in 5 games. Christ Church is now in Class 3A Region 2 and Cooke should have an increased role for this team. When spotting up with his feet set, Cooke is a knockdown perimeter shooter and adds much-needed floor space for his attack-minded Guards. However, Bennett can also get to the rack himself, especially when attacking closeouts. He will work hard on the defensive end and force turnovers frequently.
