On offense, he can downhill quickly when the opportunity arises. Hilliard has also developed a nice looking jump shot, making him tough to defend. He moves extremely well for a guy his size. He often scores off of drives to the rim, and not many guys are able to jump with him when he goes to lay it up or dunk. Gomez can also play some quality defense. His high release point is also difficult to defend. When it comes to his defense, he uses his wingspan to stifle his opponents. I also like his ability to block shots and fight for rebounds on the defensive end. He makes wise decisions with the ball, and also plays his role incredibly well. On defense, he leverages his length and can cover ground quickly.
