Bouie is kicks things off at the shooting guard spot at No. 1. He makes up half of one of the best backcourt duos in the state of North Carolina at JL Chambers High as they have a chance to take home an NCHSAA State Championship this season. He holds over 14 DI offers heading into his junior season and remains a national prospect to keep tabs on after averaging 14.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest as a sophomore. Look for him to really grow on the perimeter and beyond at 6-foot-6 as one of the Cougars' primary ball handlers in 2024-25.

Floyd is the No. 2 ranked shooting guard in the 2026 class to get to know. He'll be a feature name to know with the Winston-Salem Christian National squad since moving from Kings Mountain High. He posted 19.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.7 steals per game as a sophomore at Kings Mountain and had a productive summer on the EYBL stage with [program_tooltip program_id='2220892' first='Team' last='United']. He's another versatile shooting guard who's shown he can score in a variety of ways as well as make things happen for others off the rebound.

Kerr checks in at the No. 3 shooting guard spot as the best top available prospect. He's the other half of the JL Chambers backcourt due for a bright future at the shooting guard spot given his ability to make things happen in a number of ways. He's another sizeable prospect at 6-foot-5 with offers from a number of HM DI programs given his ability to create and knock down shots on the perimeter. He led the Cougars in 2023-24 with 34 made 3-pointers while producing 13.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.0 steals per game.

Dawkins checks in at the No. 4 shooting guard spot with room to grow in the Ben L. Smith High backcourt this upcoming season. He's a shifty shooter who can create off the bounce and off the catch with his ability to knock down shots with efficiency in the midrange and on the perimeter. He doesn't settle too often and gets paint touches with ease with his length and athleticism. North Carolina A&T has offered him but look for that list to grow as more eyes get on him in 2024-25.

Whitfield is another budding name in the 2026 class to get to know at the No. 5 shooting guard spot. He's got a bright future at the shooting guard role for Victory Christian Center after posting 12.4 points per game during his sophomore season. He knocked down 72 3-pointers in 2023-24 on 38 percent shooting from deep to prove himself. As he's grown and improved on his frame on the hardwood, look for his stock to grow in the class very soon given what he's capable of.

Checking in at No. 6 in the 2026 rankings is Dudley High's [player_tooltip player_id='2055662' first='CJ' last='Jones']. He's an emerging sharpshooter in the class to get to know after knocking down 66 3-pointers and leading the Panthers in scoring with 19.3 points per game. He's a volume shooter with range for DI and DII programs to get to know in the 336 area given his pedigree for scoring on the perimeter. As he shows he can be a factor defensively, look for his stock to grow on the recruiting scene.
