The point guard group still has available talent to watch in the 2025 class, especially in Group 2. Here are the 2025 top available Group 2 point guard prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='1472517' first='Alex' last='Grospe'], 5'10 South River

Grospe lit up the stat sheet last season and should continue to put up big numbers in his senior season. The 5'10 guard plays with poise on the ball as he rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and knows how to get to his spot on the floor. Grospe plays with great floor vision and wastes little motion in his release. He also has the ability to play off the ball and plays with good instincts on the defensive end. Grospe will light up the box score this season as he is looking to power South River's offense again this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1773152' first='Nesta' last='Rice'], 5'10 Medford Tech

Rice has been super productive over the past two seasons as he has poured in over 900 points and dished out nearly 200 assists. The 5'10 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and can finish in a variety of ways around the basket. Rice can also score in the mid-range and has a good release on his jumper. He finds his open teammates in the halfcourt and gets deflections on the defensive end. Rice had 11 20-point games last season and is looking to eclipse that mark in 2024-25.

[player_tooltip player_id='1919181' first='Sitafa' last='Hall'], 5'11 Camden

Hall is poised to have a breakout season as he should get more touches on the offensive end. The 5'11 guard has a good handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finish around the basket. Hall is more than just a slasher as he has a nice shooting stroke and sets his feet before he shoots. He rarely makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands and slides his feet on the defensive end. Hall will receive more minutes in the backcourt, which will help his stock throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2421319' first='Zeyad' last='Elshazly'], 6'1 Spotswood

Elshazly ran the offense for the Chargers last season and will do so again in 2024-25. The 6'1 guard uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and can thread passes to teammates in his halfcourt. Elshazly finishes nicely around the basket and can make opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He is an underrated rebounder and has the length to get deflections on the defensive end. Elshazly had three double-doubles last season and is looking to go over that mark in his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1919188' first='Drew' last='Harvey'], 5'8 Cinnaminson

Harvey has been a big part of the Pirates' offense over the past two seasons as he's helped them to a 48-9 record. The 5'8 guard has a clean release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Harvey moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the halfcourt. He rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt and fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Harvey is a sharpshooting guard prospect who should torch the nets from distance throughout the course of the season.
