High School basketball in NorCal is quickly approaching. On this list is our class of 2025 players who have committed to the colleges of their choice. Here at PH NorCal our goal is to shine the light on as many prospects as we can. Through hard work and exposure these players put in the dedication and work that's needed to get to the next level. NorCal is a big area with lots of talented ballers who can play at the next levels of college basketball. Division I II III NAIA, and Juco. We have 12 players who have committed to DI programs. There will be plenty more for college coaches to see during the upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1384447' first='Jasir' last='Rencher'] 6'5 Wing/Forward, Archbishop Riordan: NorCals top ranked prospect in this class. He's going to TexasA&M. He'll be a contributor on both sides of the ball at this level. He's an athletic defender, good rebounder, who can handle and pass. He excels in open space making moves to finish strong at the rim with layups and dunks. He has a clean jump shot from mid-range out past the 3-point line.

[player_tooltip player_id='1384424' first='Alec' last='Blair'] 6'7 Guard, De La Salle: He has huge hands to control the ball while dribbling, and making one handed passes. He could be a point forward. He has excellent court vision, a willing facilitator. He moves well to create off the dribble from the sides, and can go inside to get buckets, not posting up but, making moves and finishing in the paint. He's going to Oklahoma to play baseball/basketball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1384451' first='Semetri' last='Carr'] 6'1 Point Guard, Redwood, Larkspur: He's NorCals top point guard in the class. He has all the necessary tools needed to be successful running a team. He has vision, handles, decision making; the foot speed needed on both sides of the ball to defend on ball, and a burst to get into the paint, for points and assists. He transferred into Redwood this season, so his numbers across the board should go up. He's going to California, Berkeley.

[player_tooltip player_id='1574722' first='Gavin' last='Sykes'] 6'4 Combo Guard, Modesto Christian: He has the ability to switch gears, that's what makes him the top combo guard in NorCal. His true position will work itself out, but for now we've seen him be a dominate scorer getting buckets in all the ways a guard can score. Then there's his playmaking ability, a willingness to facilitate the offense, the handles, vision, and decision making is there. He's a good rebounder. He's going to Long Beach State.

[player_tooltip player_id='1384425' first='Jalen' last='Stokes'] 6'5 Guard/Wing, Dougherty Valley: A strong defender, good rebounder who can handle the physical play inside, gives a good effort. His guard skills, ball handling, driving into the paint, and decision making were noticeable at the end of Summer ball. He can score in the paint, hit the mid-range jumper, and has range for 3's. He's going to UC Davis

[player_tooltip player_id='1140161' first='Alvin' last='Loving'] 6'4 Wing/Forward, Salesian College Prep: He just goes out and contributes in ways that helps his team. He's a shot maker when the game is on the line. He plays at a good pace, not rushed showing his big game experience. At 6'4 he's good on the boards, has always had the strength and know how to defend bigger players in the post. He roams the perimeter looking for the pass and cut plays or knock down good open shots. He's going to Yale.

[player_tooltip player_id='2503068' first='Kellen' last='Hampton'] 6'7 Guard/Forward/Wing, Moreau Catholic: He returns to NorCal after spending last season in SoCal. He's big, has a versatile skill set to play 3 positions. He can handle and pass on the move, he has the size and dribble to work his way into the post for points around the rim. He can hit the pull-up mid-range jumper, work from the high and mid post. He can defend on the perimeter and has the size to hold his own defensively inside. He'll rebound. He's going to University of Pacific in Stockton, CA.

[player_tooltip player_id='1776801' first='Elijah' last='Perryman'] 6'2 Combo Guard, Clayton Valley: One of the top guards in NorCal when it comes to running a team. He brings the toughness along with the skills to dominate from the guard position. He can be difficult to contain when he decides to get aggressive looking for points. He has exceptional court vision, and anticipation getting the ball to where it should be. His ability to pass the ball might get overlooked if he has to score more. He's going to Utah State.

[player_tooltip player_id='1382882' first='Steve' last='Emeneke'] 6'9 Center Archbishop Riordan: He continues to build his body, and improve his skills for the post area. He's moving better with the footwork that will result in buckets around the rim. He's from working from high, mid and low post. He's got the turnaround paint jumper, a jump hook, and he's using his length to power up. He's a rim protector, and a rebounder, who'll secure the ball, make good outlets. He's going to California Irvine.

[player_tooltip player_id='1572987' first='Chase' last='Rawlins'] 6'5 Guard, Folsom: He's an excellent passer with court vision. He'll find movers and cutters along the perimeters. He knows how to maneuver his way into the paint using his size, and balance to shoot paint jumpers over long arm defenders. He handles in transition with head up looking for the long pass up, or for open shooters. He can shoot the basketball, his range extends past the 3-point line. He's going to UC Davis.

[player_tooltip player_id='1572964' first='Mark' last='Lavrenov'] 6'7 Forward, Rocklin: He's probably one of the more physical post players in NorCal. He moves well in the post generating buckets on strength alone, he's a go to guy in the paint when you want a bucket. He can be productive away from the basket using his dribbles and balance to get closer, or hitting the open 3-point shot on occasion. He's an excellent ball mover, works well from the high and mid-post. He should be in the double double category this season. He's going to Sacramento State.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530585' first='Luke' last='Isaak'] 6'3 Guard, San Ramon Valley: He's primed for a breakout season, showing off his combo guard skills. He's done well being a facilitator working up top with good handles, penetration, and passing, showing patience letting the plays develop. But let's not fool ourselves he can get hot dropping buckets in a variety of ways. He's hard to guard at times. He's been a consistent scorer at this level. He's going to UC Irvine.

Ry Atkins 6'7 Wing/Forward, Modesto Christian: He's coming into his own as a basketball player, after spending the summer working on his perimeter shooting. He's a legitimate threat to knock down 3-pointers around the perimeter. He's stronger, looks more willing to bang inside, he has the length and has improved his post defense. He's getting his fair share of rebounds. He'll get a buckets inside, he's filling lanes in transition.
