Cortlin has a deep bag of moves he can go to to get a bucket. Cortlin also does an outstanding job off the ball as a shooter and is a plus defender. Cortlin should be one of the top guards in the state this year in his first year at Bethel Academy and one of the more prolific scorers in the state.

I watched [player_tooltip player_id='1494098' first='Justin' last='Burrough'] extensively last month at the CBG Fall Series, and he was extremely impressive. Justin has the size and strength to step into a college program right now. Justin uses his strength well in the paint, and when he decides to get to the rim, he is difficult to stop. Justin can hit jump shots, and I think he has the potential to be an elite defender at the next level. He can guard 3 or 4 positions with his strength, size, and athleticism.

I watched [player_tooltip player_id='1339892' first='Julian' last='Rivera'] a couple of times this summer, and a few things always stand out. Julian's passing and defensive motor are top-notch. Julian is your consummate glue guy, and he will fit into any situation you put him in. When he drives to the rim, he is an excellent passer, and Julian is a reliable scorer when asked of him. This season, Highland will again be one of the best teams in the DMV, and Julian will be the guy making winning plays at the end of the game.

I watched [player_tooltip player_id='2242375' first='Shane' last='Crissman'] a lot last year at Riverside, and his move to Miller this year could work well for him. There are a couple of things Shane does well, but his biggest calling on the court is his shooting. Miller loves to shoot threes, so I think this fit is hand and glove. Shane has great range and at 6'6” has the size to be a D1 wing. Watching Shane last year, his shot selection was something I felt wasn't great, but I think it will improve at Miller with the shots he will get within the flow of that offense. This transfer could take his recruitment to a new level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1494114' first='David' last='Miller'] might be a little undersized to be a forward at the next level, but I think his motor and overall skill make up for it. David plays harder than everyone on the court, and he is extremely physical. David can knock down shots, but he truly shines when he starts to impose his will in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2146762' first='Jacob' last='Moore'] will be an interesting guy to watch this year for PVI. It's well known Jacob has sat behind blue-chip talent over the past few years, so this year he has a terrific chance to carve out a role. Jacob will fit into this team defensively with his length and versatility. Jacob is a good passer and does a great job attacking the rim. Jacob can play multiple positions and does everything well. This will be a big year for Jacob. He could go from being slightly under-recruited to being a sought-after prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2571740' first='TJ' last='Jackson'] is a high-level scorer from the PG spot for Oak Hill Red. TJ has a great handle and is an outstanding shooter. TJ uses his handle to create for himself, and he does a great job as a driver. TJ is a good passer, and defenders have a tough time staying in front of him. TJ is an offensive weapon and one of the more talented guard scorers in the state.
