On Tuesday, Prep Hoops SC was at the Upward Stars Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina for Week Five of the Upward Stars Fall League. Although they are not officially officiated with their High Schools, Fall Leagues are a great chance for prospects to get out on the court with their teams and continue to prepare for the upcoming season. Check out my evaluations on six prospects who stood out from Week Five Day One of the 2024 Upward Stars Fall League:

[player_tooltip player_id='1266488' first='Evan' last='Enos'] (Middle Tyger/Byrnes HS) - [player_tooltip player_id='1266488' first='Evan' last='Enos'] begins our list of 2025 Standouts from the Upward Stars Fall League. Enos specializes in perimeter shooting and is a weapon in the pick-and-pop game, something his squad called on early and often. However, Evan was noticeably more effective on the defensive end of the floor yesterday. He was strong in post-defense, worked hard on the glass, and drew multiple charges.

[player_tooltip player_id='2417275' first='Jamari' last='Cullen'] (Middle Tyger/Byrnes HS) - Cullen is the other Rebel Senior who was impressive on Tuesday Night. Jamari started a little sluggishly from the field, but once he became more aggressive in attacking the rim the jump shots began to fall too. Cullen was solid on the defensive end of the floor too, as he usually is. He has good instincts to jump passing lanes and get out into transition. Jamari can play either position in the backcourt and was a dependable backup Point Guard for stretches in the game. He finished with 11 Points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1541103' first='Rhett' last='Warga'] (Slab Town/Wren HS) - Down a couple of key pieces, Rhett ran the show for Slab Town (Wren HS) in Spartanburg. He was essentially the Point Guard in their offense and touched the ball every time but also guarded the opponent's best player. Warga started strong with a made three on the first possession of the game and finished with 3 3PM in the game, but also looked confident scoring off the dribble at all three levels. He also worked hard on the glass, made some key passes, and drew multiple charges as he seems to do every game. Rhett had one of the top performances of the week putting up 22 Points, 12 Rebounds, and 3 Assists in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1268661' first='Kam'Ron' last='Williams'] (Fairforest Way/JL Mann HS) - It was good to see Williams back in the Palmetto State with Fairforest Way (JL Mann HS). Kam is originally from the Greenville area but has made a couple of different stops over his High School Career. I was most impressed by Kam's body control in the paint, as he showed a knack for scoring around the basket. He also displayed a crafty handle, quick first step, vision, and strong hands on the defensive end in his 11 Point, 5 Assist, and 3 Steal performance.

[player_tooltip player_id='1164550' first='Mikey' last='Wilkins'] (Green Mountain/Christ School) - This was my first chance to see a full, in-person game of the #1 Prospect in Prep Hoops North Carolina's 2025 Class, North Carolina State Commit [player_tooltip player_id='1164550' first='Mikey' last='Wilkins']. I was impressed with Wilkins' dominant 6'8" frame. He was consistent for the entire game in controlling the glass and protecting the rim but also showed good qualities on the offensive end of the floor. Wilkins has a polished set of back-to-the-basket moves but he is also a good passer when teams show him multiple bodies.

[player_tooltip player_id='1239543' first='Madden' last='Collins'] (Green Mountain/Christ School) - [player_tooltip player_id='1239543' first='Madden' last='Collins'], a former State Champion in South Carolina with Irmo High School, was a key contributor for Green Mountain (Christ School) on Tuesday Night. The American University Commit is an intriguing prospect due to his length on the wings. He was on top of his game in the second half of their matchup with Middle Tyger (Byrnes HS), showing off his ball handling, ability to score in transition, and toughness in the paint. Collins is also a good perimeter shooter with a quick release. Madden finished with 17 Points and 5 Steals in the win.
