The highly anticipated new edition of the class of 2026 rankings have finally been released, with over 140 players in the rankings, including over 40 new players to the list! Here's a look at part five of the new faces in the update.

#118 [player_tooltip player_id='2618840' first='Jordan' last='Carr'] | 5'11” PG | Peninsula Catholic

Carr is part of a talented young PC core that will be a tough out over the next few years, and he's able to learn and play alongside some very talented guards right now to get ready for when he takes over. The 5'11” lead guard plays with great pace and doesn't get sped up when pressured, he can get to spots off the bounce and has great footwork on the pull-up and as a finisher and he's a high IQ player on both ends of the floor.

#121 [player_tooltip player_id='2548279' first='Aaron' last='Pomrenke'] | 6'4” SF | Abingdon

Pomrenke came to the Prep Hoops Expo all the way from Abingdon and made a name for himself, as the 6'4” wing showed a lot of tools that are intriguing moving forward. Coming from a program that has been very successful in the past few years, he's next up as he has prototypical size on the wing, he is a knock down shooter from deep off the catch and he is very good at attacking closeouts and getting to spots too.

#122 [player_tooltip player_id='2618871' first='Jackson' last='Wallace'] | 5'11” PG | Stafford

Wallace is part of a group of talented guards in the Fredericksburg and could move up this list with a big junior season I'm expecting him to have as the go to guy for Stafford this year. While he isn't the biggest guy Wallace is a natural scorer who knows how to create space off the bounce and make tough shots, he can move off the ball where he can knock it down at a high clip and he is a crafty finisher around the rim too.

#125 [player_tooltip player_id='2618846' first='Khristian' last='Peebles'] | 6'0” SG | Peninsula Catholic

Peebles is following in the footsteps of his brother Kendon Peebles who was a standout at PC and Catholic and was also a late bloomer, and the younger Peebles has some of the same qualities as his brother. He's a good athlete who thrives in transition with his ability to push it and finish above the rim, he plays with a great motor on both ends and he's willing to do the dirty work as well.

#126 [player_tooltip player_id='2618849' first='Collin' last='Bowles'] | 6'2” CG | Massaponax

Another one of those Fredericksburg guards I was mentioning, Bowles is set to have a huge junior season for a good Massaponax team if he plays the way he has this fall. The 6'2” combo guard is a dead eye shooter from deep who can hit shots on the move with good range, he can create space and knock down shots off the bounce and he's an unselfish playmaker with great feel too.

#128 [player_tooltip player_id='2618874' first='Evan' last='Thorton'] | 6'3” SF | Highland School

Thorton at times gets overshadowed on a Highland team that will be one of the top teams in the state this year, but he's had flashes of brilliance this fall and would likely be a top player at a local public school if he chose that route. The 6'3” wing is a big time athlete who can play above the rim in transition and is fearless around the rim, he is a scrappy defender who fights and wins 50-50 balls and he doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective.

#132 [player_tooltip player_id='2309865' first='Latham' last='Fields'] | 6'3” CG | Stuart Hall

Fields transfers to Stuart Hall from Harrisonburg where he was a standout the last few seasons, and his reclassification makes him very intriguing moving forward and he could move way up this list with continued to development. At 6'3” he's a big and physical combo guard who thrives when getting downhill and creating space with his strength, he can make shots from all three levels and he's a versatile defender who can guard multiple positions.
