<p>Buchanan was an impact player in both the 3v3 and 5v5 segments. Explosive first step-to the rim in the 3v3 drills with consistent finishing. Got to see his motor be even more effective in the 5v5 drills. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2617356' first='Ashawn' last='Powell']</strong></p>

<p>Powell made several explosive plays on the attacking end. Smooth dribble move to break past a defender and followed it up with a pull-up triple. Never puts his head down with the ball. Shows lots of confidence. </p>

<p>Lengthy wing-guard from Homewood-Flossmor. Forces a handful of turnovers on the defensive front while avoiding bad foul-calls. Got guys involved at a consistent clip. Added an impressive step-back 3-pointer later on. </p>

<p>Clemens caught my attention with a chase-down block over a taller defender in his first game. Can finish crafty attacking the lane and create chances at the free throw line. Smooth pull-up jumper at one point. Good length for a 6'3” guard. Plays with confidence.</p>

<p>Excellent speed off the ball to help free himself up on offense. Created several buckets by finding open holes in the defense. </p>

<p>Saw Ellis contribute in several ways. Did his best to force misses on the defensive front. Also cut off passing lanes and forced a few turnovers to keep his team in it. Very active as a passer on the other end. </p>
