Buchanan was excellent in a pair of wins on Saturday for M14 Hoops National-1 as he helped lead his team to a spot in the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals Elite Eight. The 6’2″ guard from Oswego East High School is a great athlete with the ability to consistently slice his way through the defense off of the dribble and then elevate to finish at the rim. This is what we had to say after watching Buchanan play on Saturday, “Buchanan caught the attention of everyone in the gym with a big-time two-handed slam in transition. Then, he continued to play well knocking in a couple of three-point shots, attacking the basket off of the dribble, and finishing opportunities in transition. The 6’2” athlete from Oswego East High School is definitely a prospect to watch this spring and summer.” He is an intriguing one to follow due to what he brings to the table athletically.
