Our scouts covered a great tournament this past weekend on Saturday and Sunday. 80 teams from the DMV and surrounding states converging on Loyola Blakefield to compete in a showcase event. We enjoyed catching some intriguing intra-conference matchups played next to a court with in-state rivals squaring off. Let's break down some of our top senior standouts!

-Showed his potential as a W/F prospect in a win over Polaris Prep. Fleming started off the game with a jab and go from the wing that led to a 2-handed dunk, scored on a putback, blocked 2 shots in the same possession, and collected a steal within a 4-minute stretch. Collected a steal, hustled back in transition for a block, then went coast to coast to complete a poster dunk in transition. Fleming finished through contact, scored on another putback, and hit his FTs in a statement win. With a consistent motor and defensive focus, he can play his way into scholarship opportunities this season.

-Didn't have a huge scoring day but the senior guard gave Loyola some good minutes in The Challenge on Saturday. The Navy commit's athleticism was fully on display-- staying vertical to not draw a foul then spiking a layup attempt defensively in transition, finishing around defenders trying to draw a charge in the paint, and hitting clutch FTs down the stretch. Williams' ability to win 50/50 balls, create havoc defensively, and push the pace in transition will be big for the Dons' success this season

-Streaming issues interrupted his game on and off but Moise's ability to create space and generate his own offense was intriguing. Moise took his defender off the bounce all the way to the rim to finish with an extension layup past the help defense, pulled up from the paint to knock down a floater, and stepped back to knock down a midrange look. His speed and vertical lift make him a great hidden gem prospect to track at Seneca Valley.

-Washington stood out as a fluid athlete on the wing capable of knocking down open looks from beyond the arc, rebounding, and creating havoc defensively. The Gwynn Park transfer looked comfortable in his new threads at Riverdale, knocking down two corner 3s in the first half while also closing out on shooters, guarding bigs on switches, and stunting well at ballhandlers. The perimeter skills have improved, showing more lift on his jumper and some nice touch on a floater in the paint.

-Latoga is skilled point guard that can really handle the rock, can pass, and works on or off the ball because of his shooting ability. Latoga started off the game with a made 3 in transition, came down the next possession hitting a one-dribble pull-up in the paint, and spent the next few possessions zigzagging through the key finding open shooters. He can really score in spurts, just want to see him work to create some easy buckets to keep that momentum going throughout the game.
