From last month's SEBA Atlanta annual Fall camp, we take a look at some guys who had good days, which could translate into success as the season looms, Part 1 of 2.

Along with his continuously improving frame, Holmes added a bunch to his game it appears this summer and had a good showing at camp athletically. At 6-5 now can really get off the ground and that's an ongoing augment to a dimension in the open floor which he already had shown in prior seasons. The outside shooting has improved, to the point where he's less likely to push the ball recklessly to the basket and will pull up from 15+ if given. With the stellar SEBA 16U team he was a regular standout this travel season. The Gladiators have other talent on the roster for '24-25 with fellow 2026's [player_tooltip player_id='2245631' first='Christian' last='Cooper'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2025384' first='Thomas' last='Landeck'] also set for possible breakouts, so it'll be interesting to see Holmes' college-level development in this crucial 3rd season for him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1540315' first='Xavier' last='Berry'] | Guard | Walker | 2025 (pictured at top)

Has really developed from a young up-and-comer with promise into a sound lead guard who combines good natural instincts with plenty of burst and savvy. Can go on some scoring runs if he wants to, but I like that he has an eager willingness to be a slick distributor, and that seems to please him just as much. He's the kind of guy I'd love to have running my team, sees the game, plays with enthusiasm and has real gifted talent that has the potential to get even better at the next level.

Miles George | Guard | Sprayberry | 2025

Has consistently shown up at least for me on any "Underappreciated" list that we can produce, a high-volume scorer who has made consistent, trackable improvement yearly and additions to his game are quantifiable and easy to see. As part of the SEBA program the last few years he has been one of their top performers on a strong 2025 team. Bigger and stronger at 6-3 now entering his last season, he remains to me one of the truly underrated unsigned gems in the ATL-Metro, and a guy who has all the tools to develop into a very good college player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2132947' first='Jayvion' last='Nurse'] | Guard | Pebblebrook | 2025

His move to Pebblebrook will be big for exposure and a chance for a deep playoff run, we'll see how it translates for his game and further development, but all signs point to it being a prudent jump. Loved seeing his assertiveness with [program_tooltip program_id='2362177' first='Sewer' last='South'] this summer and it continued at SEBA camp as he has natural leadership qualities on the floor but not a frantic need to touch the ball every possession. That quiet yet level-headed insistence on being an integral part of controlling the ball is a good quality to me, he can score it from all levels, and he could be set for a monster winter as the main man for the Falcons.

Tej Efemini | Guard | Mt Bethel | 2025

This one remains a tantalizing mystery mainly because coming off a really strong summer with Path Hoops he continued much of that this fall both at SEBA camp as well as with the Eagles in the OTP Fall League. Zach Rodene has left Mt Bethel, leaving a very interesting gap for the improving Efimini to step into. He's a slashing, hustle guy, a good motor, plays with good energy, a quality defender, and another ballhandling option for an Eagles team that will need it with 2026 riser Nate Robinson the only true lead guard on the roster.
