Mountain Ridge 3-7 (9-16); 6. Syracuse 1-9 (8-16).<br><br><strong>2024-25 Picks</strong><br><strong><br>1. </strong>Herriman— Herriman is likely going to enter the season as the favorite. Last season they were maybe one possession from making it to the State Championship game. They have a lot of experience coming back and a lot of players that are skilled. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1278442' first='Carlo' last='Mulford']</strong> has been on the rise and college coaches are noticing. He will be tough to stop. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1369726' first='Cale' last='Barclay'] </strong>has been blooming as of late and has been rising as well. It has been awhile since Herriman has gotten transfers but they have two that came in and they will both help right away and provide depth. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2080687' first='Stockton' last='Blanchard'] </strong>is much improved and he will be a big piece in their run. <br><br><strong>2. </strong>Corner Canyon&nbsp;— The Chargers still have the juice to win it all but they will do it with different pieces. They are loaded with players that play with effort and that have skills. Look for <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1190621' first='Noah' last='Bendinger'] </strong>and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1190620' first='Bryton' last='Valdes'] </strong>to have major coming out parties this season as they will be among the best duos in the state. Valdes will be a double figure scorer and might get double digits in assist as well. Look for player like <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1724355' first='Diesel' last='Dart'] </strong>and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1278437' first='Tyler' last='Mortensen'] </strong>to really pick things up among others. <br><br><strong>3.</strong>Bingham&nbsp;— Bingham is built to have many players come in and play a solid amount of minutes. Their main player this season will once again be<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='1278436' first='Luke' last='West']. </strong>West is a player that can take over and that is what makes Bingham dangerous. <strong>Parker Snedaker </strong>will be a piece that will halep score out in the perimeter. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2562843' first='Brayden' last='Ericson'] </strong>is a lead guard that has improved his hamdle and passing ability<strong>. Lucas Niedig </strong>will need to be huge for them in the post and and in the paint defensively. Look for <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1146657' first='Jason' last='Peterson']</strong> to be much improved as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>4. Mountain Ridge</strong>— [player_tooltip player_id='1409850' first='Will' last='Lindsay'] is going to have an opportunity to be the man this season for Mountain ridge and he has the skills to do just that. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2672236' first='Tate' last='Munson'] </strong>has some experience and he will need to really get things going this season. [player_tooltip player_id='2539837' first='Isaac' last='Langston'] is a young player that will get a lot of run and he could be huge as they have to replace a lot of players from last season. <br><br><strong>5. </strong>Riverton— Riverton lost a lot of talent and size. They will be a much different looking team. <strong>Ryker Kerekes</strong> is a player coming back that is set to take on a bigger roe along with [player_tooltip player_id='1316006' first='Evan' last='Berrett'] a player that could be a problem for a lot of teams.
