Pure Sweat Fall Showcase: 2026 and 2027 Top Performers

What makes him so good as a prospect is his ability to pick defenses apart with his passing.&nbsp; He made several backdoor passes from the high post that were Jokic like on the money to cutters.&nbsp; Sound footwork around the hoop and is a nifty finisher.&nbsp; Spin moves, hook shots, reverse layups, and can step out to hit an occasional three.&nbsp; His touch on the block with quick moves is impressive.&nbsp; Shined in the drills portion with his clean release and pure shooting stroke.&nbsp; Has some potential to play on the ball as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2477842' first='Amareon' last='Adams'] (Carterville – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6'6” power forward from Carterville is an intriguing post with athletic pop!&nbsp; The lefty four man played with a good motor, showed off spin moves round the hoop, and flashed a face up shot knocking in a three.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2394250' first='Javan' last='Garrett'] (NCOE – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lead guard from NCOE that stands at 5'9” is a point guard that can push the tempo, throw lob passes, and hit open threes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Thomas King (Goreville – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>King is a physical 6'2” wing that gets the most out of his ability.&nbsp; In the last game of the night he really got after it on the defensive end.&nbsp; Several steals and blocks.&nbsp; Runs the floor hard and finished round the hoop including on a pick/roll finish.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2383402' first='Jagger' last='Mayville'] (Waltonville – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mayville is a 6'5” left handed power forward who did work both in the drill work as well as games.&nbsp; What makes him so interesting is his length, agility, and skill around the hoop.&nbsp; Maneuvers his body to make difficult shots.&nbsp; Touch and good footwork around the hoop with plus athleticism.&nbsp; Works well around ball screens as a roller to the basket.&nbsp; Nice hook shot.&nbsp; Also like his length and mobility on the defensive end switching and contesting shots at the rim.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2125643' first='Jaxson' last='Hancock'] (Centralia – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hancock is primed for a big sophomore season for the Orphans.&nbsp; The 6'1” shooting guard has really improved his handles and gained a lot of confidence with his play off the bounce.&nbsp; Has always been a sound perimeter shot maker which he showed again in this setting, but there was more in there.&nbsp; Continues to shoot the basketball well from deep.&nbsp; Quality three point shot maker.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2384747' first='Witten' last='Devor'] (Waltonville – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Devor is a 5'11” point guard that is a good passer that had a nice reverse layup.&nbsp; Knocked in a three.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2383433' first='Silas' last='Kreuter'] (Vienna – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kreuter put his name on our radar with a strong outing.&nbsp; The 5'11” Vienna lead guard is a crisp ball handler that used it to get to the rim and hit a tough step back.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2383996' first='Braylen' last='Turner'] (Okawville – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This 6'0” guard showed he could score from all three levels converting in the lane, knocking in mid-range jumpers, and hitting threes.&nbsp;
