Preseason Preview: Class C Preseason All-State

The season for Class B and Class C begins in a week around Louisiana. Jamborees for each classification start on October 29th and commence on the Saturday before first tip. Previewing the season, we will look at the preseason all-state teams for each classification. We will look at Class C first and list who we believe are the ten best in that classification.   1st Team   [player_tooltip player_id='2677853' first='Parker' last='Alexander'] (Sr. | 5'10" | Hornbeck)   [player_tooltip player_id='1684320' first='Rondell' last='Battle'] (Jr. | 6'2" | Phoenix)   [player_tooltip player_id='1680588' first='De'avery' last='Durham'] (Jr. | 5'9" | Gibsland-Coleman)   [player_tooltip player_id='1679405' first='Javonte' last='Ford'] (Jr. | 6'4" | Pleasant Hill)   [player_tooltip player_id='2677865' first='Kaleb' last='Gregory'] (Sr. | 5'11" | Claiborne Christian)   Our preseason first team is one of the best guard contingents regardless of classification. [player_tooltip player_id='1680588' first='De'avery' last='Durham'] is the reigning Most Outstanding Player for the class. He is a state champion and has played in Marsh Madness for the last three seasons. [player_tooltip player_id='2677853' first='Parker' last='Alexander'] has been the lead guard for a Hornbeck team that has competed at the top of Class C. He has a wealth of experience plus he can score. [player_tooltip player_id='1684320' first='Rondell' last='Battle'] is one of the top combo guards in the state. He can score as well as any guard in any classification. [player_tooltip player_id='2677865' first='Kaleb' last='Gregory'] is a scoring point guard from Northeast Louisiana. His game has flair and flash that not most guards have. [player_tooltip player_id='1679405' first='Javonte' last='Ford'] is one of the most gifted guards/wings in the state. He may be the best player in any gym he plays in.   2nd Team   [player_tooltip player_id='2692416' first='Cole' last='Doucet'] (Jr. | 6'1" | Starks)   [player_tooltip player_id='2692439' first='Eli' last='Ferguson'] (Jr. | 6'4" | Saline)   [player_tooltip player_id='2580025' first='Keelan' last='Parrie'] (Sr. | 6'1" | Ebarb)   [player_tooltip player_id='2408075' first='Logan' last='Riggs'] (Sr. | 6'2" | Georgetown)   [player_tooltip player_id='2677876' first='Kevin' last='Scott'] (Sr. | 5'11" | Pleasant Hill)   The Class C second team for the preseason is a very talented group as well. [player_tooltip player_id='2692416' first='Cole' last='Doucet'] is a scoring machine and dynamic in transition. He plays the passing lanes as well as anyone. [player_tooltip player_id='2408075' first='Logan' last='Riggs'] is an all-around player. He fills a stat sheet as well as anyone in any classification. [player_tooltip player_id='2580025' first='Keelan' last='Parrie'] has a ton of responsibility for an Ebarb team looking to get back to Marsh Madness. He can score and pass on a high level. [player_tooltip player_id='2677876' first='Kevin' last='Scott'] is one of the better point guards in this classification. His workload should be less this season but still enough to help Pleasant Hill compete for a state title. [player_tooltip player_id='2692439' first='Eli' last='Ferguson'] is a load in the paint. Especially on the Class C level. His inside scoring should be problematic for a lot of teams this season.   We will have a look at Class B for the girls and boys later in the week. As far as these ten players, they can compete with anyone on any level. Look for each of them to have a great season for their respective teams.
