A player who is no secret to the country, Kamagate had a breakout session I of 3SSB action playing for Compton Magic. A player who has been on our radar since he was with Darrow School in New York. Kamagate is a special talent at the center position with his size, explosiveness and interior scoring. Kamagate will likely wind up in the top 20 for each national rankings site during their next update but for now he is only found on Prep Hoops among non-paywalled national rankings.

Another big man with a lot of talent, I actually got to see Barry last weekend for Gateway Knights and he stood out with their 16 U team. A physical force on the interior, Barry knew where to be as a help side defender and showed offensive flashes rolling to the rim and making a pass with his back to the basket. Tough to find legit 7 footers in high school basketball and while they usually develop later, Barry already impacts the game at the rim on both ends of the court. Barry has also been named a standout from the CREI at the end of last summer and seems to be a name that's about to become much more well known sooner rather than later.

George is another name who has recently blown up and seems ready to join the national rankings at next update. The talented wing is one of a handful of prospects from Michigan's 2028 class who have high major potential and he might just be the best of the bunch. George is an explosive athlete who makes a big impact defensively for The Family 16 U and is developing as a perimeter shooting and facilitator. I'm a big fan of the long-term upside with George and think he's going to be extremely popular among Big 10 programs to watch during the spring and summer live periods.

Louisiana has an extremely talented 2028 class with Clair as one of the best. Holding an offer from LSU's old staff, I'm sure the new staff led by Will Wade will want to see Clair this summer with Sipp United. Clair helped lead Sipp United 16 U to a unbeaten session I in Detroit. The lefty Clair is a crafty pick and roll ball handler with the ability to attack and finish using either hand. If Clair continues his current production throughout the rest of the summer, I think he'll add to his offer list and become a more well-known national name as well.

Another lefty making waves, Leonard had a big sophomore season for Basha as they played a thriller against Sunnyslope in the open Division semifinals in a game Leonard scored 18 points. Another name who stood out at the CREI last summer, Leonard has the athleticism and natural scoring ability to stand out in camp settings. After starting his grassroots season with Az Unity, Leonard has made the switch to the Oakland Soldiers and is one of a couple of high major caliber prospects on their team.

When you look at Crenshaw's positional size, shooting projection, rebounding and athleticism, you see a player who has a ton of potential long term to develop into one of the top forwards in the country for his grade. After playing with YGC last year, Crenshaw has joined Houston Hoops for his 16 U season and hit the ground running. Another prospect who received glowing reviews from the CREI last summer, that camp has been a gold mine for finding underrated prospects who are about to blow up on the national stage. Expect Crenshaw's offer list to explode this summer when Division I programs start to watch more 2028 talent.
