His shooting ability and rim attacking was just next level. If you are an NWAC school you need to get on this kid ASAP!. He has an unorthodox shot but he makes it work and it goes in. Excited about how he played defense at The Utah Expo, that is one things that made him standout at times over other players trying to do too much on offense. He is quicker than you think and he is able to close down any space on defense he is giving you. Speed with the ball in his hands too is not bad for a player with good size. He is a 3 at the small school level. This kid has some bounce as well. Even woth him being athletic and the ability to really work with the ball in his hands he keeps his vision up finding players up the floor. His passing is on the money and you can see that he is playing the rigt way. He is a bigger body PF typ ethat can also shoot the ball. He is a natural defensive helper. He rebounds well and in this setting he could not just trail bit you can see that he could be a trail three-point hitter. He is strong on the ball as a defender and he is also strong as a lead guard getting more downhill on his drives. ian is also using his screens a lot better and getting to good scoring spots and good spots to keep passing lanes open and available. He is a bigger stronger kid as an incoming freshman that can defend. That is the key to someone young and to view some of their potential is their guarding ability. Then he does some really good natural things on the offensive side of the ball. he has a solid foundation. He has a strong skill se and green Canyon has some solid players. Stokes has great defensive ability playing passing lanes and getting to the rim.
