The Pangos All-Midwest Frosh/Soph Camp is one of the best chances to see young talented prospects from the state. PHI had Steve Parham at the event in person all weekend and has been posting coverage. I wasn't able to make it in person, but went back to watch the first game of every single player in the event on Baller TV. That is what is represented in these evaluations. Here is Pangos: Scotty B's 2029 Standouts!

SF Isaac Smith (OW Huth Middle School – 2029)

This 6'5” 8th grader from the south suburbs jumped on our radar with a strong performance. Obviously he has great size early in the process. Athletic forward that plays with pop as he showed on a big one handed transition jam. The explosiveness and quickness off the floor caught our attention as he is an adept rebounder on both sides of the ball. Swatted a couple shots and as the game went along even looked comfortable draining a pull up three from the wing. Lot of physical and athletic potential here!

SF Da'Kylen Heard (Beasley Middle School – 2029)

Heard is a 6'3” 8th grader that brings a lot of upside long term. Good frame and skill. Shot it pretty well creating his own shot hitting crosses into pull ups along with step back threes. Contributes on the boards and plays above the rim consistently in transition.

PG [player_tooltip player_id='2437371' first='Tyler' last='Thornton'] (Skinner West Middle School – 2029)

Super talented 8th grade point guard at 5'9” that can really pass the rock. Displayed excellent vision hitting cutters going to the hoop and pushed in the open floor. Also capable three point shooter.

PG [player_tooltip player_id='2767906' first='Ronald' last='Johnson'] (Amelia Earhart Middle School – 2029)

At 6'2” this combo guard has legit size along with game. Athletic finisher in the lane that can win in one on one situations off the bounce with hesitation blowing past defenders. Also rebounds pretty well for a guard.
