Here is a list of the 2028 standout big men from the Pangos Midwest camp!

[player_tooltip player_id='2632084' first='Daniel' last='Salkauskas'] 6'6 Stagg

Daniel is a very skilled forward who uses smooth ball-handling moves to create off the dribble. He has good shooting mechanics and was able to get defenders off their feet with shot fakes. Salkauskas also has good vision as he made some very good passes to players slashing to the rim. Daniel was selected for the top 60 games.

[player_tooltip player_id='2632093' first='Amari' last='Williams'] 6'8 Shepard

I was impressed with Williams. He's a lanky big man who runs the court well and shows good timing on blocks and rebounds. Amari has the potential to be good in the post as well scoring with jump hooks and having good hands and springy legs to dunk off vert. Was selected to play in the Top 25 game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2409922' first='Kahari' last='Ali'] 6'5 TF North

Ali is another new name to me as he is a lanky rim running big man that has incredible length and agility. Kahari showed success on the defensive side of the ball with good help side defense detouring shots. Kahari has good foot speed and defended smaller players very well when switched off on them. On offense he spent a lot of time on the perimeter but we didn't see him shoot many shots. Ali was selected to play in the top 60 game.

John Brown IV 6'7 Homewood Flossmoor

Brown IV was very impressive at Pangos. He's a versatile forward who has a tremendous upside on the court. One thing that stood out was his shot-making ability on the perimeter. He gets his shots off clean for his height. Another part that intrigued me was his wing span as he covers the ground on defense and moves his feet well to switch off on guards and hold his own. John is one to watch in the 2028 class. He was also selected for the top 25 game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2538631' first='Grant' last='Smith'] 6'5 Lyons

Smith is another player who continues to shine at these events. He's a mobile stretch forward who found lots of success shooting the rock. When he's not draining threes Grant is showing good touch around the basket. He isn't afraid to be physical with guys and that help him compete on the glass with bigger forwards. As a defender, he's a threat to block shots and get steals with his agility and patience. I felt he was a snub for the Top 60 game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2632097' first='Alijah' last='Johnson'] 6'6 OPRF

Johnson was a new name that caught my attention. A wide-bodied big man who has very nimble feet and is capable to handle the ball in the open court. He scored mostly off missed shots and touch passes from his guards. Alijah is a space eater on defense who rebounds in his area very well. He is difficult to move when parked in the paint. Don't be fooled he will get off the ground to block shots. He's a good prospect to keep track of.
