This highly decorated former Camas HS (WA) standout and Lafayette College commit owns the reputation as a straight bucket getter. That label proved to be true this weekend at the MADE Hoops event in New Jersey. Currie torched the nets from deep against an extremely talented St. Joe's Prep squad, as he drained 7 threes (unofficially). He splashed spot up threes, threes off the dribble and step back three-point attempts. Currie also displayed a remarkable bag of dribble drive moves and a quick first step. That combination of assets got him into the paint at will. Once he was in the lane, Currie scored through contact at the rim and knocked down a few floaters.

Bonner is loaded with players who can get buckets in bunches. So, this season it is going to be interesting to watch where the shots come from. But one thing is for sure, Jackson is a talented primary ball handle with a high IQ who will charged with spreading the rock around. Jackson displayed shifty handles and excellent court vision as he piloted Bonner's fast breaks and half-courts sets. He was an impressive live dribble passer as well as a smooth pick-n-roll operator. Jackson also got out in transition for scores and assists. When he was not dropping dimes, Jackson produced points at every level.

In my “Prospects to Watch” article for this event I highlighted Mita was a player to watch during Penncrest's game against Cherry Hill East. Mita made me look like Nostradamus by posting a double double of 15 points and 12 rebounds in that contest. Mita showcased his entire offensive skill set against CHE. The high IQ hybrid-forward hit jumpers from all over the floor, scored in close and ran the floor for secondary fast break buckets. Plus, Mita did a tremendous job of distributing out of the high post as well as double teams. He was also worked the glass at both ends for tough rebounds. Mita was plus defender too.

The hottest shooting guard prospect in SEPA's Class of 2026 continued to increase his recruiting stock at the MADE Hoops Northeast Preview with a 35-point outburst vs. St Rose (NJ). Sajid shot the lights out from behind the arc as he drained 8 triples (unofficially). After a few made threes, Sajid used head / ball fakes followed by a couple dribbles to get to his mid-range spots or all the way to the rack. Sajid also flashed his athleticism and speed on several transition baskets. He holds offers from several DI schools, but it is apparent that Sajid is a P4 prospect, and that a flood of offers is on the horizon.
