<p>The Elite 8 Fall Preview at Monterey Trail HS Sacramento brought out some of the top prospects in the Sacramento Area, a big part of NorCal basketball. Here's our group of 2026 prospects at this all day event October 6th.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1703093' first='Myles' last='Jones'] 6'3 Guard, Modesto Christian: Jones recently committed to Stanford making him our first commitment from the class of 2026. He was named CO-MVP along with his teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1574722' first='Gavin' last='Sykes'] who just committed to Long Beach State. Jones played his best game in the finally, showing his overall guard play, dropping quick release 3's on the catch, getting to the rim for different finishers around the rim, and showing his ball handling, vision, and passing skills in open court.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1703089' first='James' last='Carraway'] 6'3 Guard Vanden: He's one of our rising NorCal guards in the 2026 class. He's looking to build upon his breakout Spring and Summer. He's athletic, plays with good energy on both sides of the ball. He's a shooting guard looking to put points on the boards within the flow of the offense. He has the handles, and body, he can knock down 3's, hits the short jumper, and takes it strong to the rim, he'll get his opportunities. Consistency will be a key for him. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2367830' first='Manno' last='Jenkins'] 6'0 Guard Natomas: He's a free flowing guard not afraid to put up a shot. He's got quick handles, and speed to find his way to the hoop challenging defenders putting it high off the glass, sometimes off balance. He has deep range to knock down 3's along the perimeter, no hesitation, and coming down in transition beyond the line. He averaged 18.8 pts per game, 620 points total last season leading his team to a deep play-off run. We'll see more.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1711573' first='Cade' last='Krueger'] 6'2 CG, Amador Valley: He's steadily improving his all around guard play. He's a savvy ball handler, uses his body, to get to the basket absorbing contact, he has a drive spin moves on balance getting into the paint finishing with free throws. He can be aggressive looking for his shot opportunities, but makes the next pass for a better shot. He can shoot with range, he dropped a couple of corner 3's. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2503937' first='Dante' last='Ventura'] 6'3 Guard, Amador Valley: He's underrated as a passer, and ball mover. He makes good decisions with ball in hand, moving the ball around the perimeter, or looking to pass it up in transition. He has the handles, and vision to attack from different areas, find cutters, and movers for better shots. Yes he can knock down, short jumpers, and open 3's on the catch.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1953887' first='Frederick' last='Blue'] 6'0 PG, Destiny Christian: He looks primed and ready to run the point for this team. He has the tools to take his game to another level. Quality handles, vision, and the ability to create on the move. He's looking confident, and aggressively making thing happen with the ball in hand, setting up mates with his passing, and looking to get his own bucket. </p>

<p>Mohammed Kamara 6'5 Forward/Wing, Destiny Christian: He's a rising prospect thats starting to contributes in different ways, making his presence felt. Standing 6'5 with a solid body, he gets up pretty good for rebounds on both ends, he can defend from perimeter to post with lateral movement, and strength inside. He has power moves to get a bucket inside. He's shooting mid-range shots, and 3ptrs, with confidence. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2509674' first='Jacoby' last='James'] 6'1 Guard, Grant: He's a hard playing aggressive player with a good skill set for the guard position. He has speed and quickness with his dribble. He's a tough minded guard who can get a bucket in different ways. He can get by defenders with a burst, get into the paint and challenge shot blockers. He'll knock down long 3's. He's still finding that balance. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1707488' first='Demari' last='Hunter'] 6'2 Guard, Grant, Sacramento: He's a long rangy guard with speed and quickness. He has the tools to effect the game on both sides of the ball. He has the long arms, foot speed, and lateral movement to be a good defender. He's sharpened his ball handling skills along the perimeter looking aggressive attacking defenders going to the basket, for paint jumpers and points around the rim. </p>
