Southwest Florida is earning more and more respect throughout the state with the amount of talent in the area, and each and every year there are a number of prospects that turn some heads on the recruiting landscape. As we gear up for this upcoming high school season lets take a closer look some of the players in the area and what they bring to the court. Let's now take a look at five players who do a little bit of everything for their respective squads.    Gollopp is a prospect who never takes a play off, and flirts with triple-double numbers night in and night out. He is a tremendous rebounder from the guard position and has great court vision, where he's always looking to get his teammates involved. He has a smooth stroke from the outside but really excels at attacking the basket and finishing around the rim, or finding a teammate for the open bucket. Gollopp can be a real nuisance on defense, he's got both quick feet and quick hands, and has a real knack for forcing turnovers. Keep an eye on this kid as looks to help lead Lehigh to a successful campaign during the 2024-25 season.     Gateway Charter's unsung hero is a coaches dream and will do whatever it takes to help his team win. The 6'2" CG is a team first guy who produces night in and night out. Fogle is a strong kid who can help on defense in the paint, but is also athletic enough to lock up the guards and wings. He rebounds the ball very well on both ends of court, and is quick off the floor for second chance points. He has a tremendous basketball IQ and just plays the game right. He handles the ball very well and also has great court vision. The Griffin's swiss-army-knife has a beautiful jump shot and can hurt you with his mid-range game, but can also become lethal from behind the arc where he shoots the 3-ball at a very high rate. Fogle is an unselfish prospect who effects the game in one way or another every time he steps on the floor.     Leslie comes back to SWFL after playing a couple seasons with The Rock School in Gainesville. The 6'7" CG is a special talent with his size and skillset, which make him a matchup nightmare for opposing teams. He's a high-level prospect who has the size and strength to play down low but also the tools to really stretch out the defense. He's a great ball-handler, especially for a guy his size, and has a smooth stroke from the outside. He's a tremendous 3-point shooter, but if you play up on him he has a quick first step and can beat you off the dribble and finish at the rim. Defensively he can guard every position and won't back down from any assignment. Look for Leslie to be major factor in the Viking's success this season, and really turn some heads in his return to SWFL.     Childs is a hard-nosed, gritty player who does a little bit of everything for his CSN squad. He's a strong bodied guard with a terrific mid-range game, and is also a very efficient shooter from behind the arc. He has the ability to beat you off the dribble and attack the basket, where he can finish in the paint with both hands while absorbing contact. Childs is a team player who isn't afraid to get on the floor for a loose ball or take a charge when needed. The 6'1" SG is also a tremendous rebounder from the guard position, where he uses his size and spacing to his advantage. Defensively, he's an active player who will be in the guards face for the entire possession, but also isn't afraid to bang around with the bigs down low. Keep an eye on this kid as he looks to make some noise with CSN in this his senior year.     This kid is an absolute gym rat who is always trying to make himself and his teammates better. He's a team first guy who's willing to do whatever it takes to win. Louzao is another strong bodied prospect who effects the game in number of ways. He has the ability to guard any position and rebounds the ball very well on both ends of the court. He shoots the 3-ball at a very high rate, but can also hurt you with his solid mid-range game. The 6'3" CG is almost like having a coach on the floor, and just keeps his head down and plays the game right. Louzao has a great attitude and you can tell he just loves the game, coaches should keep a close eye on this hard-working prospect as he's a true leader both on and off the court.
