Leslie had himself a solid outing in tough matchup with a very talented Sarasota squad. The 6’7″ senior finished with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block, and played smart basketball from start to finish. He has the size and skill to score down low, but also a smooth stroke from the outside, where he shoots the 3-ball at a very high rate. He is a huge asset on the boards for the Vikings and has the ability to guard multiple positions on defense.

Leslie is a long, skilled guard-forward hybrid whose 6-7 frame gives him intriguing versatility. He’s a natural shooter who creates space effectively and has a clean release from the perimeter. Leslie also uses his size to finish around the rim and rebound at a high level, giving him the tools to impact multiple phases of the game. As he continues to add strength and refine his handle, Leslie’s upside becomes undeniable. College programs in need of size and shooting from the wing would do well to take a closer look at this rising prospect.

Leslie comes back to SWFL after playing a couple seasons with The Rock School in Gainesville. The 6’7″ CG is a special talent with his size and skillset, which make him a matchup nightmare for opposing teams. He’s a high-level prospect who has the size and strength to play down low but also the tools to really stretch out the defense. He’s a great ball-handler, especially for a guy his size, and has a smooth stroke from the outside. He’s a tremendous 3-point shooter, but if you play up on him he has a quick first step and can beat you off the dribble and finish at the rim. Defensively he can guard every position and won’t back down from any assignment. Look for Leslie to be major factor in the Viking’s success this season, and really turn some heads in his return to SWFL.

The 6-6 rising junior guard has good ball-handling skills where he can display a great feel across all three scoring levels. Leslie also displays a great first-step where he can get to the front of the rim and finish effectively on both sides of the rim. On the defensive side, he is very active with his hands and is an above-average athlete where he can battle for rebounds with the best of them. Leslie is also very quick in transition where he can turn defense into offense in a hurry as well. College coaches should begin looking at this prospect before time slowly runs out as he is considered to be one of our underrated junior guards this season.
