He showed his ability to be a high-volume scorer who can score in a multiplicity of ways. He is really good at getting to the cup off the bounce and scoring in the paint or at the rim. To get right down to it, he was one of the best scorers in his age group, and it would be tough to find someone who matched his scoring prowess. Now, as much of a young talent as he is, he showed behavior that could raise concern if not put in check early. He has to learn to let his game be his voice.

Darion (DJ) Benton, Jr. (5'0/PG/2031/Bonaire MS)

IG: Darionbentonjr

X: @darion_jr1220

Darion is a small lead guard who demonstrated a solid PG skill set. He handled the ball well and was fully in control of the pace of the game, with his ability to accelerate the tempo and then slow it down at will. He plays the game low, making containing him off the bounce very difficult. Darion is a caliber player whose presence on the floor makes his team's offensive efficiency skyrocket. He has good vision and passing skills and keeps his teammates happy with his ability to distribute the rock. He has a budding PG IQ and is a player whose development I will keep an eye on.

Hilton Grant, III. (5'4/CG/2031/Campbell MS)

IG: hilttrip_2031

Hilton is a backcourt talent who showed his ability to play on and off the ball. He has no problem taking over the ball-handling duties and keeping the offense fluid, while at any moment, he can take over a game with his ability to be a bucket-getter. He is a slasher who puts pressure on the rim but also has a reliable floater game at his disposal. He showed he can be a valuable piece to a team as he does a good job balancing scoring and facilitating.

Messiah Allen Lancaster (5'10/PG|SF/2030/Bay Creek MS)

IG: Therealmessiah0

X: @Realmessiah0

Messiah came into camp looking to show his scoring ability, as indicated by his aggressiveness off the bounce. He is a strong downhill attacking guard who also showed to be a strong finisher at the rim. He is a high-volume shot taker, which resulted from just how aggressive he was with his attacks off the dribble. He is not the quickest with the rock in his hands, but with his ability to get to the cup with his size, he is a player who shows a lot of potential and intrigued me throughout the weekend.

Kameron Gaskins (5'9/PG/2030/Durham MS)

IG: kamzupnext

Kameron is a twitchy guard who did an excellent job creating off the bounce and either finishing or getting his teammates the rock for easy scoring opportunities. He had the ball in his hands a lot, as he was trusted to lead his squad throughout the weekend. He proved to be reliable and unselfish, as he created offense for his teammates with his ability to shift the defense due to his interior penetration. His team seemed to always do a lot better with Marcellous on the floor, showing his value as a floor general. He shot the ball well from behind the arc, keeping the defense honest.
