He played on and off the ball throughout camp, and he showed a level of comfort at both spots. He has the ability to orchestrate the offense as well as create off the bounce, opening up opportunities for his teammates, in which he does a good job getting the ball to them in those moments. When he steps to the off-guard spot, he showed his ability to be a knock-down catch-and-shoot guy from behind the arc. He continues to develop his overall game every time I see him. He has to continue to show the tenacious play that will be needed as he continues his basketball journey.

[player_tooltip player_id='2889848' first='Cy' last='Cosby'] (6'0/CG/'28/McEachern)

IG: youngbullcy

X: @cy_cosby

Cy is a backcourt talent who showed shot-making ability as he was often ball-dominant, looking for his offense. He massages the ball a lot as he looked to get into isolation and attack his man one-on-one. He stood out with his ability to create offense off the bounce, whether in the half-court or in transition, where he often grabbed the board and started the break. He put constant pressure on the rim when the ball was in his hands. He showed that he can score off the bounce as well as from behind the arc.

Jason Peeples, Jr. (5'9/PG/'28/Houston County)

IG: Jp_squared05

X: @Jpeeples2028

Jason is a small backcourt talent who showed his ability to knock down the trey ball throughout the day. He seems to understand what the strength of his game is at this stage of his journey, and he played towards that strength. He has to continue to stay in the lab and work on his overall game. As a small guard, he will have to be more assertive on both ends of the floor and bring more than just the three-ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2523860' first='Kovid' last='Parashar'] (5'10/CG/'28/Blessed Trinity)

IG: @kovidp_basketball

X: @Kovid_P11

Kovid is an aggressive guard who looked to get paint touches throughout the day. When he was getting into the heart of the defense, he was making plays with his ability to finish as well as his vision and passing skills. There is a lot of craftiness in Kovid's game, and he was tough to keep out of the paint. As he continues to hone his overall floor game, his perimeter shooting, and get in the weight room, he has a chance to develop into a reliable and trustworthy guard who will be trusted with the keys to his squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='2835557' first='Sean' last='Lopez'] (6'1/CG/'28/The Skills Factory)

IG: sean.lopez2

X: _Seannn2

Sean is a backcourt talent with a lot of upside in his game, as he showed a really good feel as a playmaker. He has the raw ability to put the ball in the basket at all 3 levels and showed that he can make some impressive shots when creating his offense. He is really tough to contain off the bounce and does a good job creating his own opportunities, even when he is forced to take tough shots, which he made often. He did show his ability to create off the bounce and be a distributor for his squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='2639003' first='Jamari' last='Jenkins'] (6'2/F/'28/Calvary Day)

IG: @Unknown_marii

Jamari started the day out very aggressively, and his motor was on high for the duration of camp. He brought energy and effort and was highly active in the paint as well as very physical. He did a good job controlling the boards as he anticipated missed shots and tracked the ball well. He was aggressive on the offensive end and showed his ability to put the ball on the floor and attack the rim. He is a downhill attacking prospect who puts constant pressure on the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2960337' first='Trey' last='Peck'] (6'3/G|F/'28/The Weber School)

IG: rp3_2028

Trey is a versatile scoring perimeter prospect who showed early his ability to knock down the trey ball and proved to be one of the best shooters in the camp. As the day went on, he showed a bigger picture of his overall floor game and ability to balance scoring and orchestrating. He also showed that he can create his own shot off the dribble, hit contested jumpers, and score efficiently in isolation. His footwork, balance, and body control were impressive, allowing him to create space and make plays for both himself and his teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='2848346' first='Landon' last='Ferguson'] (5'11/CG/'28/McDonough)

IG: F4l_lj

Landon brought a lot of effort to the floor and looked to assert himself throughout the day. With his assertiveness came questionable shot selections, which will improve as he continues to develop his floor game and be a student of the game. He had moments where he demonstrated his ability to keep the offense fluid and serve as a connector, ensuring everyone stayed involved and got touches.

Kendrick Meredith, III. (5'9/PG/'28/Newton)

IG: tenshiffyyy

X: @KendrickMeredit

Kendrick is a lead guard who is quick off the bounce and did a good job throughout the day getting paint touches. He has a nice floater that he can lean on, and he has vision and passing skills to spray the rock to open shooters. He also has the ability to knock down the open three when available. He showed a two-way impact as he is a pesky on-ball defender who forces ball-handlers to work to make things happen.

Team One at the Prep Hoops Sophomore ID Camp featured a deep group of guards and wings who brought a mix of scoring, playmaking, and defensive energy. Team One established itself as one of the most competitive and entertaining squads of the day and here is a look at the squad….
