The 2024-25 basketball season is coming soon as practice starts in a little over a month. The 2025 class is primed to have a strong season, including the unranked prospects. Here are the 2025 unranked prospects to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='2623169' first='Rodney' last='Tullis Jr.'], 6'0 PG/CG Newark Tech

Tullis Jr. led the way for the Terriers last season and should have an even bigger 2024-25 season. The 6'0 guard plays with composure on the ball as he knows how to get to his spot on the floor and rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure. Tullis Jr. can thread passes to his teammates in the halfcourt and finishes nicely in the halfcourt. He can also score in the mid-range and rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt. Tullis Jr. had seven games last season with at least five assists and is looking to eclipse that mark in 2024-25.

[player_tooltip player_id='1889492' first='Najai' last='Hines'], 6'9 C Plainfield

Hines transferred into the Garden State from North Carolina and is set to make his mark for the Cardinals. The 6'9 post runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy layups and dunks in transition. Hines uses his strong frame to get position down low and has a good touch around the basket. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his length to block shots on defense. Hines is an athletic center prospect whose ability to control the paint will help his stock in a big way this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2621462' first='Kyryl' last='Streltsov'], 6'7 PF/SF Montgomery

Streltsov is an intriguing prospect to watch as he has the potential to put up big numbers this winter. The 6'7 forward has a good first step, which he uses to get into the paint and has a nice touch around the basket. Streltsov uses his size to shoot over his defender and has a high release on his jumper. He works for rebounds on both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. Streltsov joins a Montgomery team that won the sectional title last season and is looking to help them repeat as champs in 2024-25.

[player_tooltip player_id='2549661' first='Preston' last='Neuenhaus'], 6'8 F Saddle River Day

Neuenhaus led the Rebels in rebounds last season and is looking to duplicate the feat in 2024-25. The 6'8 forward has a soft touch around the basket and doesn't mind drawing contact. Neuenhaus has a solid handle as he can get into the post and sets his feet before he shoots. He works for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated defender. Neuenhaus had seven double-doubles last season and should eclipse that mark this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2624501' first='Joneil' last='Hernandez'], 6'6 SF Covenant College Prep

Hernandez has the potential to play either forward spot, making him an intriguing prospect to track in the class. The 6'6 forward elevates for dunks in the halfcourt and can draw contact in the paint. Hernandez moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups in the halfcourt. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Hernandez is an athletic forward prospect who should make plays at both ends of the floor during the season.
