As per usual the point guard position is the deepest. Many players are accomplished and skilled as point guard prospects, while some are just too short to able to play anything else if they make the next level. Most of these guys are worth a college coach evaluation and the top few tiers warrant in-person evaluations.

Elite Shooters

Kevin Die’ Kevin Die’ Kevin Die’ 5'10" | PG M.B.A. | 2025 State TN (M.B.A.) is a good shooter, at times great. As important he showed during AAU season that he is willing to take and make critical shots. A loaded Team Mookie 17u team certainly had top dogs and Kevin fit right in. You can read more about him here.

KJ Neville KJ Neville KJ Neville 6'2" | PG Bartlett | 2025 State TN demonstrates a very soft touch. Bartlett routinely fills their cupboard with D1 athletes and future D1 players. It has and will moderate the field goal attempts of KJ.

Gabe Davenport Gabe Davenport Gabe Davenport 6'1" | PG Zion Christian Academy | 2025 State TN (Columbia Academy) would put his three-point shooting up against anybody in the southeast. Incredible from the wings and the corners.

Maguire Evans Maguire Evans Maguire Evans 6'2" | SG Cleveland | 2025 State TN (Cleveland) entered high school as a very good shooter, became an unstoppable shooter, and then broadened him game to include slashing and passing.

Best Handles

Arnett Hayes Arnett Hayes Arnett Hayes 6'2" | PG Battle Ground Academy (football) | 2025 State TN (Battle Ground Academy). Nobody could stop him from getting into the lane two years ago. He is also being recruited as a D1 football player.

Quickest

Shane Cherry held down this title for years. In fact, Cherry was probably the quickest high school guy hooping since his freshmen year. Alas, Cherry transferred to Florida and no longer resides in our rankings.

What about now?

Former @PrepHoopsTN Combine Co-MVP Rodney Henderson Rodney Henderson Rodney Henderson 6'1" | PG Tyner Academy | 2025 State TN will put up a good fight in a foot race. Arnett Hayes Arnett Hayes Arnett Hayes 6'2" | PG Battle Ground Academy (football) | 2025 State TN ‘ quicks are elite. Clarksville Academy leader Trae Rideau Trae Rideau Trae Rideau 6'1" | PG Clarksville Academy | 2025 State TN changes direction at an uncanny speed. Carter Webb Carter Webb Carter Webb 6'3" | PG Siegel | 2025 State TN popped onto the seen two years ago thanks to his first-step quickness and keeps getting better overall.
