Another newcomer to Oregon’s Class of 2025 is Cox, who also comes in as a point guard and one with multiple D-I offers including one from Arizona State. At 6-foot-1, he’s smaller than teammate McCullough but differs in that speed is more critical to his game as he really gets up and down the floor in a hurry. From what we’ve seen in practice and in one scrimmage, the Memphis native is also a deadeye outside shooter, whether it’s setting up for three or pulling up in the lane off the dribble. (Late note – it appears that Cox has decided to return home to Tennessee and will play at Central High School in Memphis, so adjustments to the rankings will be made in the next update.)
