His ability to shoot the three ball is elite, but even more impressive is his defensive enthusiasm. He has a solemn basketball demeanor and excels under pressure. I expect a breakout season from the Lincoln Prep Junior. I look forward to watching him in the upcoming showcase around notable big school players to see which part of his game shines the most. He is a shifty guard that is one piece of a dynamic duo that has been a huge reason for Gibsland-Coleman and their back to back appearances in the Top 2028 LHSAA State Championship Semi-Finals. He is an elite ball handler, shoots the ball well from any spot on the court, and has a quick first step that allows him to find his spots easily on the court. Defensively he can compete in any gym and possesses the basketball IQ to frustrate players his size at the PG spot. He is a flashy player that will surely impress coaches with his three level scoring ability. I expect his senior campaign to be full of highlights and big scoring nights. Coaches say that he is a gym rat that is not afraid of the work. He is quick in every basketball situation and thrives when he is required to take the lead. He can handle the ball as a PG. He is an excellent on ball defender and thrives when the game is on the line. He is also a competent three point shooter, but gets to his spots within the flow of the game and can shoot the mid-range shot. He is surely one to watch and it will be interesting to see how he develops over the next three seasons. Ringold is a small school that is always in the city looking for big time competition. He is a down hill ball player and is at his best getting to the rim and finishing with strong dunks. He is a competent mid-range shooter, and his three ball gets better every year. He is the type of competitor that coaches look for in a ball player. On the defensive side of the ball, he can sit down and defend in any situation easily intimidating smaller players, and establishing himself as a bully against taller players. He rebounds well for a guard and is constantly pushing the pace which makes him fun to watch. His is comfortable and reliable from the three point line, but uses the mid-range as his primary weapon. Jaden is a willing playmaker that consistently makes the game easier for players around him. He joins a talented group of guards at Calvary Baptist, but will be the motor for the team this year. He is a 6'0 guard that plays right at the rim, and finishes easily through contact. He is an excellent finisher with both hands, and uses the floater to frustrate bigger players. Defensively he will also be known around the state as he hangs his hat on frustrating anyone that steps in front of him. Calvary Baptist plays a tough schedule this year and Jaiden will get the opportunity to showcase his skills in Texas and Tennessee as the team will travel out of state to compete.
