He has added subtle notches to his development belt every single year and this senior season will be special. THe high flyer is all that you want in a basketball player. He is powerful, but poised, skill and aggressive, vocal and intelligent. He is the complete player one of the best players in NELA. He plays the game with a joy and enthusiasm you only see in elite hoopers. He is a highlight reel, and will dunk on anybody that gets in his way. He was not a Grissom Pick, but he will make any list I put together.

Demarquis “Juicy” Durham is one of the most physically imposing players you’ll find on the basketball court. Standing at 6’0″ and weighing 200 pounds, he is a basketball machine — a true force on both ends of the floor. Durham plays with a bulldog mentality, bullying his way through defenders on offense and using his strength to dominate on defense as well.

While he has recently added a three-point shot to his game, it’s not his primary weapon. Durham excels at getting to his spots and rising up for mid-range jumpers, though his true strength lies in his downhill attacking style. Once he’s in motion, he becomes nearly unstoppable. His ability to finish through contact is unmatched, as he is often the strongest player on the court. On top of his physicality, Durham is an explosive athlete. A high flyer, he can dunk with ease off one or two feet and is always a lob threat.

As part of a balanced Gibsland Coleman team with several weapons, Durham is a key piece of their success. Currently, he averages 20 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block per game. Given his multi-sport athleticism, it’s highly likely that Durham will become a two-sport recruit, as he is equally impressive in track and field. With his combination of strength, skill, and athleticism, Durham is a player to watch and a prospect who could make an impact at the next level.

Demarquis “Juicy” Durham is the definition of a power player in this tournament, consistently delivering electrifying moments that leave fans on the edge of their seats. At 6’0″, he plays much bigger, dominating around the rim with impressive blocks, rebounds, and jaw-dropping dunks. His mid-range and long-range shot continue to develop, but pressure is his game. His athleticism and tenacity make him a human highlight reel; every time he touches the ball, something thrilling is bound to happen.

Defensively, Durham is a relentless force, capable of pressuring opponents 94 feet with unmatched stamina. He rarely needs a break, maintaining a high level of intensity throughout the game. In their recent matchup against Saline, it was clear that trouble loomed as soon as the Durham Duo hit the court, with Demarquis playing his role and making a significant impact on both ends. He really looks like a football player and his approach to the game is hard nosed and straight forward. The Durham Duo is special, AND fun to watch. They are state champions in multiple sports, so winning is inevitable.
