Section 8AA should be highlighted at the top by Pelican Rapids again. They won't have graduated Timmy Guler which is a key loss. That said, there were several younger players that played key roles last year that return, and when Guler has been hurt, others stepped into key roles that will be very comfortable for them.

From there, this could be one of the most wide open races. Good programs like Hawley, Park Rapids, DGF, Thief River Falls, East Grand Forks and some others were all dinged by graduation that might hurt them. Or their steadiness as a program will keep them where they are at. As for Park Rapids and Perham, they lost good players but return enough of their rotation that they should have solid teams.

Then you have the up and comers. Roseau and Warroad have enough back that they could be much improved, especially Roseau with [player_tooltip player_id='2126146' first='Jordan' last='Borowicz'] who could move into a star role. Borowicz, Migel Torres and [player_tooltip player_id='1948328' first='Gannon' last='Bolgrean'] could all become potential section players of the year, and maybe a Class AA All State spot.
