Team 16

[player_tooltip player_id='1738000' first='Kam' last='Smith'] - Dorman HS

Smith can really swarm the ball on the defensive end of the floor. Kam made the move down to Roebuck this season to play for the Cavaliers after playing last season at Greenville HS. Kam was able to score the ball some today when called upon. Smith has a strong frame and tends to show good body control to the cup at times.

[player_tooltip player_id='2303418' first='Kaleb' last='Long'] - Lugoff-Elgin HS

Long at times should be a halftime entertainment show this athleticism. The left-handed Long got to the rack at ease here today and finished with some nice dunks along the way. Kaleb really excels in the transition game and scoring the rock at the bucket. The bouncy Long was able to stalk the baseline at times today here. Look for Kaleb to have a big season for the Demons this season.

Team 17 (Team Was a bit shorthanded late in the day - Only 6 players here at end of day)

[player_tooltip player_id='2561860' first='Jamarion' last='Keith'] - Hillcrest HS (Simpsonville)

Keith did all of his work and damage inside the paint from 2 feet in it seems here today. Jamarion played bigger than his size down on the block. He was able to finish several putbacks all day long. Jamarion has no problems playing through contact and mixing it up when needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='2147147' first='Luis' last='Echevarria'] - Cardinal Newman

Luis has a solid handle from out top with the ball in his hand. He really likes to get out in transition and the open floor to make his way to the cup. Luis really rebounds the ball well from his guard spot on the floor. He has a quick set of hands to pick up some deflections along the way in the passing lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1354733' first='Gage' last='Dicks'] - Andrew Jackson Academy (Ehrhardt)

Gage was here earlier in the day when we saw him play in the 3X3. He was not here when we came to watch in the last game of the day. Dicks plays on the SCISA level at Andrew Jackson Academy after starting his career at Barnwell HS. Gage likes to showcase his midrange and three-point game shooting most of the time. He can get the ball to the rack when needed.

Team 19

[player_tooltip player_id='2470023' first='Elijah' last='McClain'] - Cheraw HS

Elijah was able to fill the lanes in transition here today. McClain would look to slash to the basket when given the opportunity. Elijah was able to finish with both hands at the basket. He played very unselfish at times passing up some open looks to make the extra pass to a teammate.

[player_tooltip player_id='1848632' first='Tony' last='Odom'] - CA Johnson HS (Columbia)

Odom is a long and rangy guard. Tony really looks to score the ball if it means driving to the basket, settling for a jumper or creating some havoc on the defensive end of the floor. Odom previously attended Keenan HS and made the move over to the Hornets this past summer. Tony likes to use the crossover move to get by defenders.

Alec Elkins - Lucy Beckham HS (Mount Pleasant)

Elkins was able to leak out at times throughout the day for some open looks. Alec is best suited as an undersized shooting guard. He connected on several three pointers here today. Alec surely needs time and space to set his feet for his shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2148633' first='James' last='Pojani'] - First Baptist (Charleston)

Pojani plays the game with some swag. James can handle the rock when needed. He seems to be at his game knocking down jumpers from the elbow or behind the three-point line. James is a deceptive athlete on the floor. He saw good minutes last season for the Hurricanes in the SCISA Class 4A ranks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2354724' first='Jy'ell' last='Preston'] - Trinity Collegiate (Darlington)

Preston is a TWEENER on the floor. He really plays his best basketball inside the paint staying active on the glass. Jy'ell a combo forward 4/3 type really cleans up on the boards. He runs the floor very well and fills the lane in transition. He seems to get his hands on a lot of balls just playing with a lot of energy. Preston at times today looked to show his ball handling skills.
