The Prep Hoops VA Expo took place at Rock It Sports in Richmond on Sunday, September 31, with players from all over the state ranging from seniors to sophomores attending to compete and get their names out there.

It was a great day of competition with 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games played intensely throughout the day. Here's a look at part two of the many 2025 standouts from the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548302' first='Jaylen' last='Dyer'] | 6'4” CG | Miller School

Dyer is set to play an important role for the defending state champs at Miller this season, and he was impressive as a guard that played the right way in a camp setting where not everyone does. The 6'4” combo is a big guard who can play through contact and mix it up in the paint, he understands the game and makes the right pass consistently, he can make shots from deep off the catch and off the bounce and he has a great pace to the way he plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598933' first='Cortlin' last='Siska'] | 6'5” WF | Bethel Academy

Siska returns to VA after a hiatus for a year and he made a huge splash in his first event back showing that he's one of the top available prospects in the state. A late bloomer that now stands at 6'5” and much more athletic since growing into his body, he showed good shot making ability from multiple levels, he used his strength and athleticism to finish above the rim, he was a good rebounder and defender and he filled it up in a lot of different ways.

[player_tooltip player_id='2146762' first='Jacob' last='Moore'] | 6'8” PF | Paul VI

Moore is another very talented and underrated available player who showed he should be recruited by division one schools despite sometimes being overshadowed playing on one of the top teams in the country. At 6'8” Moore has prototypical size to play the four and five at the D1 level, he is a good athlete who was on the rim plenty, he's a versatile mismatch with good ball skills and the ability to stretch the floor and he can guard multiple positions as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2452244' first='Cameron' last='Walters'] | 5'9” PG | Oscar Smith

Walters is coming off a good summer and is ready to lead one of the deepest teams in the 757 this season, and he showed why he's a great floor general at the camp as well. He's a shifty guard with good burst and the ability to change speeds, he makes good decisions and makes plays for others off the bounce, he finishes well over bigger defenders and he sets the tone defensively with his ball pressure as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1583313' first='Noah' last='Caesar'] | 6'1" WG | Fredericksburg Christian

Caesar was one of the best up and coming players in Fredericksburg before a scary situation sidelined him for the end of last season, but he's healthy now and played very well at the Expo. The 6'1” guard is a strong and well built wing who can handle his own when he gets in the paint, he shoots it well from deep with good range, he can get to spots and scores it well in the midrange and he plays with good energy on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548305' first='Joell' last='Basue'] | 6'2” WG | Riverside

You won't find many players in a camp that are content with doing the little things that help a team win, but Basue did just that playing with great energy even when he wasn't getting the ball. The 6'2” wing is a strong and physical presence in the paint, he pursues rebounds and loose balls, he finished well around the rim and he provided good defense and hustle without complaining one time in the event.
