OTR Fall Shootout Standouts Part 1

On offense he makes plays for others on a high level making his teammates better. With his athleticism he creates a lot of separation from defenders especially going into his pull up jumper. He finishes plays above the rim using his athletic ability to convert those opportunities. Defensively he is an intense defender on the ball that hustles on that end of the floor. He was very efficient in the mid-range shooting over defenders using his height to his advantage. When rebounding he never gives up especially on the offensive side getting multiple rebounds to give his team more chances to score off misses. He is versatile with the ball in his hands against other big men using his skill set to score against them. He impressed me with his ability to play defense in the interior blocking shots and out on the perimeter guarding multiple positions. Offensively, he runs the floor very well in transition for his size getting up the floor quickly for easy dunks. There were many times he found himself wide open on the perimeter for wide open three point shots within the offense as he stretches the floor well. With the ball in his hands he likes to post up in the mid range area to create scoring opportunities for himself or his teammates. His wingspan allowed him to cover ground on defense against opposing players in one-on-one situations to keep them from scoring. Within the offense he found himself open with the ball in his hands in the pick and roll making timely decisions to help his team convert offensively. He makes good passes to open teammates setting them up for success as the team's starting guard. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
